got my guardian to 80 with no deaths + full map (except WvW) and all story quests except arah.
the hardest parts are the jumping puzzle to get to some vistas.

Arah is Meh.
Now let's see you dungeon run and do WvW.
But is that your first character?

I have read people doing re-rolls just because they died once. If these two of yours aren't resets of other rangers or guardians you've had, then really, awesome work.
Alas, there are much worse things than death.

after a quick look at wiki
http://wiki.guildwar...o_(achievements)
you can see there supposedly is an achievement for this.

Actually, I'm happy to hear there isn't an in-game achievement for it. LotRO has a title for getting to L20 without dying, and it causes no end of anguish and elitism. People bicker and ****slap each other about whether it proves you're a skilled player or a coward, and the poor completionists just reroll and reroll and reroll until they get it.

Can't complete maps if all you did was craft.
The impressive part of this feat is no falling deaths. No fight deaths is meh since you can just run away. I certainly die more from falling / dodging off a cliff than from fighting. Then again maybe I wouldn't fall as much if I just ran from the fight... In any event, impressive if nothing else for the pure luck of not dying once and completing the maps. Probably pretty boring tho to wait for Balth to die and running up after the fight to do the SP

And yes the hardest part is not falling to death...everything else is pretty easy...
My next character will be an Elementalist with complete map...i think it's the hardest class because you can die real fast
edit: and yes the no death achivment is still bugged...

Just chat saying 0 deaths, but afaik you can log-in on new character, spam /deaths (= 0, new char after all) then relog and tape it like this guy did.
Try making the same video, but actually typing /deaths.

I hate the fact that some popularly used strategies in some dungeons "require" you to kite and die a couple of times each run. On the top of my head is the bomb set-up during the Magg run in CoF.

I actually forgot to type /deaths on my Guardian, but all depending on play time, play style and game mode - 400 deaths isn't too many. Just means you stuck the fights out until the end. I rarely leave a fight completely because there is virtually no penalty for dying - a few silver = meh. And yeah, if you want to play the entire game you will die. I died as I leveled because I wanted to see how beast I could be and I'd take on vets or champs just to have fun. While leveling and twinked to the Gods I could kill a lot of higher level stuff and then I'd die sometimes. I'm pretty sure my /deaths will be in the hundreds and I don't give a rat's rear about it. No one should really, and the more "80 and zero deaths" posts I see the more I think - wow boring...

OMG I'M GOING TO DIE!!!!
(hits character select before death and instantly logs out in combat)
WIN
This game makes it a little too easy to achieve max level no deaths...
