I highly doubt they are going to make the one-time event part of that meta-acheivement. All you should have left is "Attend the party" and explore 1 more of the mad kings realm. Im guessing the "party" might be in another area of the mad kings realm. On the other hand the one time event will probably be a bonus event that doesnt effect the achievements, or maybe its to kick off the party event.

So the one time event was just the mad king popping out of the lion statue....and thats it.

Yeah, I thought it was a good balance.

People who missed this, just missed a cutscene. It was a pretty cool cutscene, and I was glad I saw it, but it's not like anyone missed out on something major.

Everyone will be able to complete the resulting dungeon.

Now that I've seen what it is, I understand why it made sense to only do it once.

well i would love to do the dungeon but you cant enter with group beceause all end up alone. Feels like the dungeons in the beginning all over again

The cutscene happens again but from a different perspective and its slightly different. If you stand in lion's arch by the fountain you will get a cutscene eventually.

well, I have the same issue with this event. I am not able to join the dungeon with a party. Alone only.

Same issue with my group, in the end it was me 66 necro with a 77 war in the instance. We 2 man the mad king, I'm sure it took us a lot longer. But its very doable, I would almost guess you could solo this place. You can run away and heal up and he will just stand in place.

War got an exotic dagger lvl 77, I got 2 repair canisters......

And honestly the "big event" which was a 30 sec cut scene of mainly the camera flying around should be when you first enter the instance. Not some one time only deal, seemed very pointless.

I solo'd him twice, if you can't enter with your group you should consider doing it alone, the first part could be hard but once you've killed the thrash mobs it's easy.

Well that was a huge letdown. A cutscene as boring as all the others in the game. They should definitely try to improve them.

And solo'd the Mad King, because entering with a party was bugged. Just stay in the small houses, so 99% of his attacks will miss and only the scarecrows do any damage, will also keep you safe from fear. Standard dungeon reward, junk.

Pretty impressive and surprising, actually. And a few guildies got exotic loot from the final chest.
