what if Anet gave us a shout elite what would you think it would be? discuss

This is a tough one.

The problem with a shout elite is that current shouts can burst heal for more than any other spec when 3 are carried; a fourth would carry it WAY over the top.  With the lack of other useful elites at our disposal, this would pigeonhole us into either being shout healers or LFG.  Alternatively, to prevent that, they could also reduce the power of our healing, but that kind of defeats the purpose, imho.

Lol, yeah.. We warriors have it so bad.

I personally think if they added another shout (elite or otherwise) it would likely be defensive. "FGJ!" and "OMM!" are purely for party damage buffing. "Shake it Off!" is technically defensive, but more of a niche utility. I could see them bringing back "Watch Yourself!" from GW1, maybe as granting Protection or something.

The problem is that healing shout warrior it seems to be the new bandwagon build, so, everything that do not work in the direction of shouts seems to be "lacking".

Anyway, an elite shout will be great, but the orientation is the problem, shake it off is a condition remover, for great justice is a buff and on my mark is a debuff and fear me is a CC... We need a elite shout that focus even more on one of these, mix them all or something in a whole new area... what about a damage shout? yeah, a shout that epic that does dmg!

"Tremble Before my Wrath!" (totally w40k) ~ Does 200 dmg / 3 stacks of bleed.

Something like that.

Lol, I simultaneously disagree and agree with your post.  Mostly, I'm just not a fan of 'Battle Standard'.  One time rez on drop, silly-long CD, and 'ok' buff do not scream 'elite' to me.  Luckily I picked Norn, so I have my trusty wolf-form.  As an aside, in a group of players I'm not confident with, I do bring Battle Standard.  It isn't TERRIBLE, but it just doesn't feel...ELITE.

On the other hand, your damage shout is an AMAZING idea.  Works with the burst DPS warrior is meant for, stack with the healing it gets used for, and all that's needed is the right name!  I hereby suggest 'Take That!'

I still vote they change the Melandru human elite to a Kormir elite, have it use a few powerful shouts for a short duration on a long CD for a burst heal/buff elite when you need it (Like Avenging Wrath in wow sorta) also it would be a huge SHOUT OUT to paragons (See what I did there?)
