I've been reading a lot of topics about bows but i couldn't find any of them focusing on particle effects so let's do this !

Particle effects bows i know about :

Aether / Azure flame: Glow - Craftable version of the Guardian's "Bow of purity" -  screenshot
Corrupted SB / LB : Slight glow on the bow's extremities, craftable.
Destroyer LB / SB : Smolders in and out of combat, craftable - screenshot
The Dreamer (legendary SB) : Rainbow effect on arrow trajectory, craftable - video
Ghastly LB / SB :: Glow at night - Ascalonian Cathacombs bow, purchased with tokens.
Inquest SB / LB: Lightning strikes running along the bow, purchased with CoE tokens.
Kudzu (legendary LB) : Walking particle effect (flowers blooming), craftable - video
Mystic LB / SB of purity : lightning strikes running along the bow, craftable at the MF.


I'm assuming Winters Bark will have some particle effects going on, but it has to be confirmed first because it's not clear on the screenshots we have so far.

If you have some screenshots of bows feel free to post them here(In Game screeshots because the effects are not visible on the previews)

P.S : If there are some english mistakes,my bad, it's not my native language, feel free to point them out so i can correct them, thank you.

I'm pretty sure the Destroyer bows have a glow effect on them.  There's also the Inquest bows from Crucible of Eternity and the Mystic bows, which have lightning strikes that snap across them.  The Arah bows also have a glow effect.

I can confirm that the Destroyer Longbow has particle effects. Had this for quite some time now. Prolly a server first back then. /flex



It smolders in and out of combat.

Winters Bark, I believe, does not have any particle effects. It's basically just like the Ice Bow that is conjured. Maybe the arrows are frosted? Not sure though.

Added Destroyer / inquest / Mystic bows to the list, put them in alphabetical order, and regrouped SB / LB of the same kind for a better lisibility, thanx for your contributions

Arah's bows effect to be confirmed (i couldn't find a proper screenshot to confirm)

The Orrian bows have a drippy effect - like you just pulled it out of water. I love their skin. The picture on the DB doesn't show the effect but you can at least see what it looks like then just picture drops of water (or undead goo!) dripping off of it.

I am not sure why they pull up as encrusted but they are usually called Traveler's Orrian Short/Longbow of something or other (or something close to that)
