hey guys ive been planning on getting my legendary soon but i have a question to those who are using them right now.

Legendaries have a special effect on their skins unlike those rare or exotic ones.

so when you cast a clone, does the effect of the legendary carry on to your clones as well?

which legendary weapon are you going for?

I was planning on going Bifrost or Bolt.

Just wanted to make sure lol. I wanna use them too. not just to show em off. haha.

I agree, either Twilight or Sunrise, but Twilight looks cooler, imo.

Now question is, what sigil would you put on the legendary once you have it? Any Mesmer with a legendary weapon care to comment?

i dont have legendary yet,
but the sigil nullify (i forgot the name) the one that remove boons seems nice. specially in wvw

Few weeks ago a mesmer with a Sunrise GS posted here with screens. Seems yes the clones use the weapon effects, including the under foot sky splotches, but none of our skills use the animation alterations from the GSs. They have a short video near the end of the thread.

Very nice. haha. Its sad that we dont get skill alterations. I mean the particle effects does not match GS#1

You do get effects on skills 2 and 5 from legendary greatswords.

I have Sunrise and use the Fire sigil for extra AOE dmg and pvp burst.
