Yerp well.

I really can't decide which class to get to 80 next. Already got a pimped out Thief and Necro at 80 with full exo and whatnot. I just have no idea which class to go with next.

I've been toying around with the idea of;

Ranger
Guardian
Elementalist
Warrior

I don't like Mesmer or Engie. Don't really like Warrior but it's a heavy class and don't have one yet. I like elementalist because the skill cap seems.. somewhat high. Although people frequently complain about survival. I like ranger to an extent, my issue with it really is that it's probably very much like Thief so I'm not sure whether it's worth it.. Also people are like SB nerf nuuuu wah wah wah. Guardian.. I'm just really unsure about. I've toyed around with bunker builds and whatnot in SPvP. It doesn't seem like a very fun class (don't smite me) but they do look cool, and I really would like the 42k karma heavy armor.

So please, someone, sway me. Make me want to play a class, you're reasoning can be anything from "this armor looks better than that" to "wtfpwn 172309 versus 1 in WvW." Just don't suggest mesmer, far too.. eurgh

Many thanks :D

And this is another one of those "why choosing when you can play them all?" replies.

Ranger because: "this armor looks better than that" and as well as "wtfpwn 172309 versus 1 in WvW."

Why don't you like Mesmer?  Scholar armor is kinda meh in this game, but Mesmer is a lot of fun.  They take a while to understand and are very trait-dependent, but they can do so much, so well.  And they can solo champions much easier than most builds.

If you want something a bit different than the norm that a lot of people (IMVHO) seem to go with, try out a condition damage Warrior. They are quite amusing and require a little bit different sort of playstyle than your normal face pwn glass cannon or just plain DPS setup. There's something innately satisfying to see so many damage numbers just flying off the enemy after you drop lots of bleeds, burns and poisons on top of them. :)
