Mystic Spiral [MYST] was founded in May 2006 in Guild Wars with the aim of making a gaming community that went beyond avatars to form lasting friendships between players. While none of us are solely MMORPG players, Tyria is our home and we’re looking to find a few more like minded folks to accompany us on our adventures!

In Guild Wars 2 we are a community of around 40 active players on Aurora Glade [EU] and tackle whatever content takes our fancy. We’re particularly fond of exploring and dungeons, but we also like to take on some WvW and sPvP as well. In terms of attitude, we fall somewhere between an achievement driven and casual guild - we require no time commitment from members but we do like to succeed at our goals. We hold at least 2 events a week and frequently get involved with major community events such as Pink Day in LA. Around 70% of our players are based in European timezones but we also have a good amount of players in Asia, Australia and America, so we aim to have a variety of events at a variety of times to suit as many as possible. Of course, we have the usual influence based buffs and do guild missions twice a week.

Although Tyria is our home, the guild is mainly a bunch of gamers who have become friends and as a result we like to play a variety of games with each other. We have our own Ventrilo server and Steam group to help coordinate and get the most out of our gaming time and a Minecraft server loaded with Tekkit for blocky fun. Many of our members enjoy playing DotA 2 as well. And unlike other multi game communities, we don’t believe in splitting our membership between titles - either you’re a member with access to all the services of the guild, or you’re not. Because of this approach we’re able to boast about having a strong community with several real life meetups a year.

We're currently looking to hear from people who fall into a couple of categories to increase our presence in Guild Wars 2. We've recently had a few returning and new members from Australia and Asia and would like more PvEers in GMT+8 to GMT+10 so our members can tackle dungeons and other content without having to wait for the weekends. We're also looking for more players in GMT to GMT+3 who are interested in general PvE and one or more of the following: dungeons, WvW or sPvP.

Please note that because we're a community guild and like to get to know the people we're playing with we recruit no more than 3 people per week. We are also not interested in guild mergers of more than 3 people. We also ask that all members speak English on major communications channels. We’re happy to take on anyone regardless of experience - our main selection criteria are on how your personality fits in with our existing members.

Hi folks, we're still going strong and are now actively looking for new members again. We're running guild missions twice a week at the moment and are happy to take newcomers to the game.
