I worked way too hard on [the lion statue in Lion's Arch] to throw it away! That would make me cry. [...] Not that we will never permanently destroy anything. In fact… well, I can’t say more than that.[...]

That's a pretty dead-centered and obvious reference there.

Any guesses?

Hmmm. Curious.
It's hard to think of things that exist for them to specifically destroy? I don't seem them dramatically altering any race cities or starting zones?

The wall of the Dominion of Winds? :P

Based on fact that ArenaNet is strongly biased against humans, I think we'll see another kingdom nuked to ashes.

The wall of the tengu seems the answer, since they announced a new zone in the next update?

As an Asura, I would love to see Divinity's Reach nuked, and would be a top suspect if it ever happened. :P

EDIT: Poor grammar fixed.

As a person who plays GW2, I would love to see Divinity's Reach nuked, primarily to get rid of Logan.

I'd rather see the Black Citadel nuked, because its ugly, home to the Charr and just plain confusing.

So they will break down a statue and claim their promises from the Manifesto to be true, that the world would be permanently affected by changes? lmfao.

I think we can pretty much assume the Tengu wall is coming down, no harm done and new area opened, I don't see them destroying anything big, at least not yet.

This is the same guy that thought that ArenaNet changed the tax to 25% because his math is laughably horrible. Then he tried to pass it off as "sarcasum" when he was proven wrong. Don't expect him to be able to READ, too!

He collected the largest amount of self-embarassment and humiliation that one can possibly achieve in life, wonder why he's still posting here.

Why did you miss the most crucial part of the post to quote? "It’s the symbol of LA. Like the Statue of Liberty is for New York or the Eiffel Tower is for Paris."

So I'm not up on LA geography, what's now the symbol of LA?  The Light house?   The new November event sounds a lot like we're going to see Bubbles in action.

Divinity's Reach is the most beautiful city I've explored in any mmo...people wanting to nuke it (except maybe Charr, I can see how that's justified) are fools!

Why did you? <_<

Here, maybe this first part you missed might put it in a clearer perspective:
".... But NOT the lion statue. [because] It’s the symbol of LA. Like the Statue of Liberty is for New York or the Eiffel Tower is for Paris."

They should let Orr get progressively greener with each major update, as we drive out the undead and new stuff comes up.

And if Orr is turned into a glassy parking lot in the process, I wouldn't grieve.

The statue is gone for good...or at least until there's some in-game event to put it back.

The Lion’s Arch lion statue is gone for now. Mad King Thorn really did a number on it. As to whether it will return—anything is possible.

Not every "change the world" is a total world revamp.

And what happens then to those people who just started playing and not made their way to Orr yet ? That wouldn't work IMO.

Orr is an ugly place full of ugly mobs that do ugly things. Which is intended, but after hours and hours you kinda feel like one of those rotten things yourself.
If not for the fact that it is ugly in a very post-apocalyptic way (which, I guess, makes it somewhat cool), I would've skipped it all together for Frostgorge on my 3rd and 4th characters... Such a depressing place! Which, again, means that they did a good job... But it's time to end the madness! The ugly mobs should go, they were good at doing what they were supposed to do (being ugly, that is) and now that we've killed Zhaitan, we should be rewarded with cute things in Orr. After spending so much time there I'd much prefer to fight cute things that one shots me. Something not brownish green. It's a crime how much expired meat I see hanging around everywhere.
