Hey guys,

Well - I'm pretty dead-set on going 'Zerker for my final Thief build, with dual daggers and oh so many critical strikes points. So, that being said I decided to make this little thread for people to post screenies of armor to transmute - since, no offense, Emblazoned isn't my style. I'm looking for something that's "preferably" on the cheap side, but I'll be willing to spend about a gold on it.

I'm looking for something that has a bit of that noble rogue chic about it - but that isn't the "Noble" armor. Running around in a cravat seems a bit silly for an assassin. I'm also looking for something that's a bit less... poofy in the coat department, because having my daggers clip through my waist every time I move is a bit irritating.

I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense - feel free to ask any questions you'd like.

Try the commando jacket you get from the personal storyline 70+. I use it and it doesn't hide your guns/knives. Do a search on this site, i commented on another post here somewhere recently with pics.

You'll want to look for the Berserker Duelist armor, it looks cool but a word of warning: Everyone uses it, especially thieves.

Click on any of the categories (Standard, Cultural, etc.) of your race/armor type choice and you can browse through thumbnails of the various armor sets in the game. Click on those for a (slightly) better pic.

Assuming you're a human, Swindler (low-level world drops) looks like it fits the bill perfectly, as does T1 Cultural. Caudecus' Manor or Crucible of Eternity, maybe. Personally I'm rather fond of the AC set, as it's about the only medium armor that actually looks like armor.

I'm personally fond of the Svanir armor from Honor of the Waves, since it's a very clean, streamlined look.  Not sure that it's a noble's look, however.  Certainly doesn't give off 'thief' vibes from it though.  As a dungeon set, you get paid to get it, too, and path 1 of HoTW only takes 15-20 minutes with a good group and rewards 26 silver for a first of the day run.

I'm mixing my gear up.  Trooper (CM look) leggings, T3 human cultural boots, the Temple hat, and eventually the HotW chest piece.  If you want a unique look you can really enjoy, mix things up and see how difference pieces look together.

My main dungeon set is Beserker's Duelist with the Anonymity Hood in Midnight Ice which looks very ninja. Unfortunately, it's getting very popular these days.

However, I do have an RP / Magic find set that is very classy....

The Marksman set:








You can get the whole set from karma vendors in Fields of Ruin, where it's called Silent Walker's

Dye Colors used are: Starry Night (Vest), Icing (Shirt), Mahogany (Belts/Gloves/Boots), and Latte (Pants).

good luck on non poofy aka coattails. 90% of the leather armor or so is all coat tails. What;s left is like 4 armors that are butt/crotch length shirts and of course the single tight top with no skirt/coattails at all...L70+duelist.

Awesome. Good choice. If you go to the PvP Locker in the Mists you can preview it to see what it looks like on your character. It's called "Duelist." Not to be confused with the actual "Duelist" set, which looks different, lol.

Yeah - I noticed that there's a lot of screwups with that. For instance, the Marksman set is under the "Duelist" name on the armor website.
