Hello guys i'm writing this because i'm one of those Mr. Indecisive that can't figure out what to level. I'm playing a guardian, i love him and it would always be my main but in WvW i find it extremely boring in every aspects (except roaming) so i need to pick a ranged class and try to enjoy this part of the game with my guild. I'll point you some details about me:

THINGS I LIKE:
Mobility/CC
Flashy skills
Big numbers
Soak damage
Low CDs
Cool looking armors
Fast kills
No downtime

THINGS I DON'T LIKE:
Being squishy
Change weapons/kits every 9 seconds
Unforgiving gameplay
Being easily kited or debuffed
AI of pets/minions
Micromanaging
Steep learning curve

From your "THINGS I DON'T LIKE" list, i would say warrior is more or less your only option.

Longbow + w/e weapon warrior would probably fit the bill, mostly b/c of your don't like list. The AOE on longbow can make for some big numbers (upwards of 8k+ on arcing arrow) and you can get some strong defense/mobility depending on your other weapon choice.

I already have a soldier class i'd like to try something a little different and let's be honest the warrior's skills are everything but flashy or colourful. I did 12 levels as engineer and it seems rather dull, well maybe you're right...

You could always try a rifle Engineer if you miraculously happen to get over the 'change kits every 9s' aspect. It's very mobile, the rifle is CC packed can do big numbers, and has enough tools to get you out of trouble even with a glass canon build. And what makes it flashy is the whole set of goofy utility skills on which every single one of them have the potential to be viable + Jump shot.

Pistol could work too but you can forget about the big numbers, more survivability, less damage.

More like every 2 seconds if you're running kit traits haha.To add to this, you can the grenade kit on zergs to see some very nice numbers. It's pretty much their best kit for WvW.

It's really clunky, the skills don't synergize well in my opinion. I'll try to level up some more tomorrow but for now i'm not sold at all, the dps is low and it takes too much damage for my taste.

well, you have 2 options

1) asking ANet to make a GM char for you.
2) re-evaluating your list to not be as contradictory as it could possibly get

I also want to be millionaire but without any effort on my part and not depending on random lottery, suggestions?

really, what a stupid thread... if a class that fitted your preferences existed you wouldnt need to make a thread looking for suggestions, just look around you. 99,999999999999% of the playerbase would be playing it.

If you want big numbers you're going to be squishy. No way around that.

So you want a mobile ranged class with lots of CC, stylish skills, huge crits with low cooldown, being able to kill anyone in a few seconds while being able to tank damage like a bunker, not having to use complex class mechanics and also surviving when making lots of mistakes?

God I'm glad there isn't a class like that.

You didn't get this post at all...
I'm not looking for a profession that covers ALL my likes, it would be crazy! 3-4 of them are more than enough, seriously it's just a pool of choices...

Why u bother posting stuff like this? Just GTFO. The guy is asking for a class that has most of the points he listed because he likes those.

On topic: Try a engi or a warrior.

Why do you bother posting stuff like this? To string along guys with misguided aims? You're doing nobody any favors.

He is asking for a general direction based on stuff he likes. Me and a few others think thats enough to give the guy a general direction to go for. If you think otherwise, then just dont post, you are doing nobody a favor besides, you are only trolling.

I'm having trouble identifying a group of these that apply to any profession in the game that is currently there.  You are basically asking for a godmode character with your likes/wants.  There is this thing called balance, maybe you've heard of it, that basically guarantees it is just about impossible to find a profession that satisfies your wants/likes list the way you have it set with your dislikes.

If any one profession satisfied 4 of your likes with 4 of your dislikes in the same set, there would be a huge flood of that profession because it would be overpowered and entirely unbalanced.

That's exactly how it is, i'm glad someone understood what i meant. I'll stick to the engi a little bit more because exping a warrior after a guardian could be too redundant.

You're looking for a warrior.  Probably Rifle.

Big numbers.  Cool armor.  Low CDs.  Fast kills.  No downtime.

Can't be kited easily.  Squishy, but not that squishy because you're in plate and hit like a truck at range.

No pets.  No minions.  No stupid kit swapping.  No turrets.  No gimmicky mechanics.

Just shooting at stuff, then pressing F1 to shoot it harder.

Guy with gun guy.  All the flashy skills are on classes that are a PITA.
