Orb Replacement idea..

Since you removed the orbs, why not just give some kind of a buffs to those who are holding 50% or maybe 60% of the whole borderlands (so if you own 60% of the whole map in a border, and there are 3 borders you get 3x the buffs)

This way raiding and defending even the small camps will do, and not just focus on towers and keeps..

Also if a server is holding less than 20% territorial control of a border give them a buff too (similar to outmanned but gives stats and real benefits in battle) but still a bit less than the buff when you own 60% of the border..

That's not at all why they removed it. The stats weren't the reason they removed the orbs, it was because people kept hacking to steal them and removing them was the easiest fix.

Actually it was both reasons.
They don't want the strongest server being even stronger, which they will be with the orbs, and they wanted to stop the hacking.

Yep, both reasons were important.  Anything that gives the faction that already has an advantage an even bigger one is bad - the fact you have fortifications entrenched with siege weapons (and probably superior numbers too) is more than enough.  We want to keep fights balanced and competitive as much as possible, not make them become dead within the first day or two.

Giving the dominate side any buffs/advantages is wrong.  In fact they should give the buffs to the sides that are losing so they would have a better chance against a force that is winning.

Never understood games that have one side winning and just keep giving the winning side more and more of an advantage.  Makes the losing side/sides even harder to catch up.
