Really looking forward to fighting Tarnished Coast again, the server that never gives up no matter what has always been a blast to face. With how weak Crystal Desert has become in the last few weeks this should be a pretty good match I just hope it doesn't become a 1v1 as I am still not sure if HoD is going to show up, but I hope you guys do this is yer first week against servers that don't have super crazy 24/7 full queues. Should be a good fair and balanced week for us!

See you on the Tarnished Coast Borderlands ;-)

I am on HoD and looking forward to it too. This past week has been our best since the collapse. So far this week we have had queue in our BL at least one night, fully retook our BL, fully upgraded Garrison, grabbed a few things in other zones, and even retook an orb for awhile. As is we have a few new WvW guilds forming over the past week or two, but still a little lacking in commanders and completely devoid of overnight/oceanic.

Usually we held pretty well until a SoS guild zerg showed up and just sweeped across much of the map, often around midnight EST when we start losing alot of people. Had a few good 3 way fights though.

HoD is not done rebuilding yet and is in a vulnerable state, many in LA were still with low morale and highly pessimistic when point out how we improved. I got high hopes though, getting tired of fighting TA guilds that transfered off so will be nice to have a more even match. Right now HoD is going through what the other servers did in the first month of community building and organizing that we missed the first month thanks to TA being so competent. Not saying that is outright bad, we are just a month behind in WvW development and was in the wrong tier for our current state.

GG, GL&HF, and Bye, thanks to SoS and IoJ for the hard fights all week. I had fun solo portal bombing, yes it can be done, your zergs and that one time pulled over half a SoS zerg off a cliff near Dawns this past week . Hello and GL&HF to T3.

The only thing that soured the week is SoS had a spy on our server who tried to steal the orb right when we finally retook the keep for first time in weeks. Someone on HoD picked up the orb just as we capped and ran it all the way to the SoS spawn point, took alot of us dieing to grab it among the legendary defenders. We mass reported him, unfortunately I don't remember his name but it was something along the lines of Lilwilly I do not believe he was a member of any of the major guilds of SoS.

Good luck everyone. Now that the Halloween has ended, we'll finally get an accurate idea of how strong CD is without the guilds that left.

I feel should be a good match up as well , YK and Darkhaven put up a good fight this week, at times out zerged us and think got to the point where we had the lead so less ppl cared about wvw. hate that.

Hope it will be a good close fight where it can go either way , really dont wanna see 1 server completly dominate over the others , thats just not fun.

As per the guild that left CD , F them , if they such cowards that they can't stick it out when times get rough then good riddens imo, while we lost FANG , OES and think MERC as the biggest of the top guilds on CD , we gained a few Oceanic guilds as well. Saw a few times over night the battle in the BL  go from a losing battle to the next morning , CD owning everything on all 4 maps.. Then few hours later back to balanced lol. Love it fluxuates like that. Also NO SPAWN CAMPING CD! I am Cd and yes i was guilty of doing this but i mean come on , spawn camping Darkhaven like we did a couple times , is to much. To then build 3-4 Balista's and arrowcarts just to lock them in is stupid. While might seem fun to do , by focusing all our attention on the small force they had , YB went around and was free to retake half the map. So lets have a good match and don't camp outside the spawn camps of the enemey thats just not cool.

Problem im seeing now and in the future , is with all the halloween stuff being so rediculiously priced , more people whom just have money to blow will buy the commander books. Thus get into the issue of Commanders trying to lead when they have no idea wtf they are doing. I mean we held SM in Eternal BL for almost a week then we lost it lol.. Thats imo what gave us the win in last weeks match.

Lets have a good clean fight , and no hitting blow the belt! haha GAME ON!! look forward to seeing TC and HoD

And that is actually very sad. Another 1v1 match isn't much of a fun whether you win or lose. I'm still at work and hope to see some good fights with both CD & HOD later though.

Seriously, HoD and ET are spoiling WvWvW matchups for what, like 3 weeks already? HoD and ET belong in the bottom tier, not in T3, T4, T5, T6. Annoying.

Don't blame us, we're the ones who stayed on the server, blame the hundreds who jumped ship when the large alliances went.

It is not their fault, theyre actually losing as much as possible to fall down their rankings. The only one who can deliberately move them down the rankings is Anet

It's a shame TC have some plug pullers (disconnecting when downed) and I have already met a few of them.

So does CD.  I've met them too, but don't read the rules on the forum or anything.  Accusations are forbidden.

To be honest I think it hurts them worse then it hurts you.  You lose out on a kill, but they will most likely end up in a queue of at least 30 minutes.  Trading 1 death for 30+ minutes of time is just silly.  Also they have to relog into the game and all that stuff too.  Just plain silly to intentionally DC for any reason.

WooHoo! Awesome Friday Night! The Reddit guilds completely crushed Tarnished Coast's Borderlands! I will have to say though, TC you are the first server to EVER prevent Reddit from taking the Hill Keep north of our spawn within the first 10min of reset, not even Ascension Alliance, Fist of the Empire, or Jade Quarry could stop us but you did for over a hour!

It was fun in the TC BL last night.  Good fights, CD.  To be honest, we made a slight miscalculation in our defense of Hills which resulted in not enough defense at the time.  If that hadn't happened, I daresay you would never have captured it.  Please don't take it in a negative way at all because you guys did a great job.

Also, we are used to fighting intense pressure.  SoR was extremely dominant last week and although you folks have great numbers and sound tactics, you are not as strong as they are.  I mean, seriously, that is NOT a bad thing to say to you.  Those guys were unreal.  We learned a lot.  I hope this week results in some great memories and we can divert the people who come here complaining and accusing.

They also end up dead when they relogin if they logout in downed state.

I am so gutted to be missing this.  Now guys, please try to make sure you win this by a narrow enough margin to keep us in T3 next week as TC vs Cd vs YB will be a really awesome match while going up against SoS and SoR sounds like a recipe for extreme pain.  Coward? Me? Naaaah.

This matchup is awesome. I can't tell who is going to win. TC has been controlling most of EB, but never all. CD is strong over all the BLs. Forget taking it to their front door. Attendance and coordination seems equal on both sides. It's been a constant, tough battle.

No matter who wins, it'd be great to face them regularly.

Finally SM is ours. It was epic battle there. There was one time when your mesmer hid and ported the zergs inside SM, but luckily we managed to repel and hold.  I am just wondering how long its gonna last. You guys just keep coming huh...
