Is there a mob you loathe coming across for some reason? An enemy which fills you with dread, or one you just roll your eyes at after coming into contact with them? Let's post our least favourite opponents excluding event bosses and why we dislike them so much.

For my part, my least favourite is the dreaded Dredge Mining Suit. Not content with being tougher than the average dredge and immune to blinds, as all dredge are, this beast of an enemy summons two full-powered normal dredge to join the battle against you making the battle far more taxing than the average grunts.

Let's hear which ones you just love to hate. :)

Explosive barrel bandits. The way they plop their bomb, light its fuse, and walk away with a whistle and a skip if you're downed is... just cartoonishly evil.

Bandit Archers from CM Explorable. Not annoying, but why the f*** are they more tanky than any other mob in the game?

It wouldn't be nearly as bad if they didn't have a habit of traveling around in packs of 2-4... Okay, it would still be pretty ridiculous.

BUT WHY DO THEY ALWAYS PLAY CATCH WITH ME!?

Any kind of Imps. They have this one attack that is significantly stronger than any other same level mob. Get 3-4 of them to aggro you, then all of them use that attack on you at once - You're very dead.

Most of the mobs in Caudecus's Manor, the hounds chain fear you and the bandits chain kick you. It leads to such ludicrous situations where you can go and make a sandwich while your character is incapacitated. I am very happy that they recently capped fear to a maximum of five stacks...

Freakin Krait, first they pull you, then daze you, then knock you back. one time, I got pulled by a krait turret, stunned twice, got away, then pulled by the damn krait itself, then knocked back into some water by another krait, then pulled by the damn turret!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Risen Acolytes, cause underwater. And aggro range. And that noise.

They made swimming while constantly pressing left and right a habit, but you mostly just want to turn around about bludgeon that Risen Acolyte following you.

On land, Risen Putrifers are okay, but I just seem to have to most trouble with Risen Farmers =.=

Skelks.

As a thief that makes liberal use of 3-4 second bursts of stealth, nothing kills my timing like a creature who does the same damned thing!

Spiders, the immobilizing variant. Always seem to come in groups of 3+ so even if you dodge or use condition removal you're still stuck for 10 seconds.

In open PvE: definetly wolves. Especially when you face larger groups. They multiply like a virus.
In a dungeon: the large mob group in inside CM. They can have 100% uptime on knockdown and skill recharge so you cant even pop stability. And as an insult on top of that, toss you about like a ragdoll.

The Risen are babies in comparison.

Risen Putrifiers without a doubt. Groups of spiders are a close second when they pull you all over the place with that damn web.

I found another who hates these abominations! I hate how they stealth and then attack from another angle. They usually stealth just before I kill em, so makes it annoying having to stand around and wait for them to decide to finally attack and unstealth just so I can smack em the last time and remove their filth from the game world!

Oh, and wolves.. nothing worse that hordes and hordes of wolves. Even worse if you take too long to kill the summoned wolves... and they respawn.. just to summon even more wolves! arrgggghhhh! lolz

Destroyer crabs, they hit like a truck and hit harder than any destroyer mob in the game. It eats through my 3k+ armor with ease. I also hate Kraits especially underwater.
