I underestimated your oceanic #'s seeing as how you were T5-6 for so long.
FA is one the most lobsided servers in terms of NA vs Oceanic strength.

its the history of our server. When the PUG's wake up and see the score difference they will shrug and go back to pve. We have gone through this week after week after week. Our NA group is as good as anyones, but as soon as we go to sleep its game over.

More room in WvW for those who actually care. Last week was terrible; massive zergs, map chat trolling, no strategy. I look forward to playing with those who haven't already given up.

As do i, but fighting an out manned and losing war is not very fun. The moment we take a couple points it will be zerg city against us.

I've said it before, but if they really want to help throw people into World vs World, they really need to bump up the rewards for the PvE crowd. They're players that want loot and will beat their heads against a virtual raid boss for weeks on end to get at the shiney purples inside. Here, there's just no reason to do it. The Badge system is crap, the gear has crap stats and looks like shit and there's only 1 set to buy at all. Yet in sPvP you can buy hundreds of pieces of armor and weapons and a lot of it looks amazing! Why the hell A-net didn't put in hundreds of DIFFERENT armor and weapons into World vs World and make the small events like capturing a tower or supply camp much more lucrative in terms of reward I can't understand. It's as if A-net said "yeah well, screw World vs World, eventually players will get so bored of it they'll stop going and we can finally focus just on sPvP." They've had all these years to get this shit right, and I hope they have some serious overhauling plans to put something worth a damn into World vs World. I enjoy it as it is, but I have little reason to beat myself to death fighting 1v50 or taking a supply camp for 2 minutes and getting almost nothing at all out of it.
Sorry for the rant, but, I really hate this lose, lose, zerg win, lose, lose shit FA goes through all the damn time (and I"m sure others as well). Was thinking of going to Jade Quarry, it always seems that servers that are 1, 2, and 3 are always neck and neck with each other. The battles must be awesome even if the que were an hour long, at least there would be something to do non stop once you got in.

On that note, you may beat us YB, but we'll give it everything we've got to make sure you'll get nothing for free. See ya on the battlefield!

They might also employ some kind of WvW ranks, that while shouldn't make you more powerful, help you get better cosmetic gear, more highly desired titles, or something.
These things might blunt the "oh we're going to lose this week, I'm done." attitude.

you should have logged in, you obviously missed a good fight. i assume you missed it because apparently you have no idea what went on in the fight. FA didn't "stomp day 1 prime time" by any stretch of the imagination.
you were holding your own fighting ET and us? guess what. we were doing the same thing fighting ET off north EH and your guys at GB.
FA and Yaks were neck and neck all through prime time.. there was some yoyo and FA may have had a small lead on the scoreboard but neither server "stomped" the other one. Yaks is a strong prime time server. that "we beat you in prime time friday night" line may work against CD but not here.

We shit on your zerg so many times it wasn't even funny. The only thing YB did all night was continue to bang their head against a wall failing to double team. I was impressed by foo though.

i guess we just interpret the data differently. i see here what i saw last night. two servers who were pretty much even all night during prime time.
it always looks different from each side though. many yaks would claim to have "shat on" your zerg as well. although most wouldn't claim it publicly and in such a rude manner. i guess my point is, there was much crapping on each other all around. if FA had just been dumping on Yaks all night without any reciprocation the score would not have been so close.

Our NA crew is of Tier 3 quality. For the numbers we have I think that's amazing and so should you. An EU/Oceanic presence will help us compete in Tier 3 (maybe even Tier 2) but we will never be able to compete if we keep quitting so easily. Yes I understand it is a problem on all servers, but since we seem to think we're so much better than everyone else let's prove it by ACTUALLY SHOWING UP.
I'm not trying to insult any of the WvW players on FA, I love playing with you guys and if I thought you weren't top notch players I would have gone to another server, but this is starting to get a little crazy. Yaks and ET want a fight so lets give it to them.

The amount of FA'ers who refuse to use siege, either deploying or actually using it, against enemies and instead run up and smack them with their fists is staggering. I watched Yaks catapulting a tower from a nearby hill, that tower had two trebuchets, catapult and four arrow carts in it. The catapult and two trebuchets were well within striking range of the enemy but nobody wanted to use them, they wanted to keep throwing their bodies at the yakwall instead.
It made me cry it did
