I don't know if Aspenwood has it ATM, sorry.
What I do know is that the darned event boss is INSANELY DIFFICULT. At least for pugs. He slaps people around like they're a bunch of wet noodles and then he slurps them up like..they're delicious wet noodles...yeah...
I hate him. I avidly avoid that dynamic event simply because I don't like dying due to rawsomesuperpower.

Funny, I hear people moaning about the ease of DE bosses and that there aren't any major events for groups to do and yet there are these sorts of bosses people don't think of. Shame an organised guild group can't just go and do the event chain to claim the cathedral on any given server.
Question, feedback or issue? Pm me!

Yeah I'd say that he is easily the most difficult boss in the game. Flame Elemental(Metrica Province) is pretty tough, and extremely rough for a low level player but Priest of Balthazar is like..five to ten times nastier. He was one-shotting my 1700 toughness 20k HP Necromancer the other day from something like 1800 range. It was baffling and nasty and I cried a little like a girl.
I like Priestess of Lyssa since it requires coordinating someone to keep the seals cleared while the rest punch the priestess. It makes it require something like 8-10 people to complete but also doesn't make it so nasty and hard that you want to curl up and hide.

Oh, people don't actually want anything difficult. People just want things other people can't do, to give themselves a "I am better" reward when they do it.
Balty lacks the whole "reward that proves it and rubs it in", hence the event isn't done.

Edit: besides, the event is just badly designed. I participated yesterday because I was around there anyway when it started, and after many minutes of dodging red circles and fiery volleys, I was insta-downed when the priest just teleported on top of me without any visible warning. Half a second later I was insta-defeated when he did some flashy move while standing over me. That's not encouraging me to ever get back there again. And I won't, because I have no use for anything the event unlocks anyway.

Now is the time Anet needs to start looking into these and adjusting them for lower populations.

It is not a matter of lower population but a matter of bad population.
Often people either tend to ignore the events and just want the rewards. Or join but completely ignoring what they are supposed to do (as in wp and run back when defeated and dont rez defeated people in the Balthazar event)

I've seen this entire chain and it's not even really Guild Fodder. I've been part of "smart PuGs" (oxymoron?) that reclaimed Grenth's all the way in hell's asscrack of Cursed Shore and THAT should be considered a difficult "Needs real Coordination" FUN public event. This crap here though.... it's just b0rked. Every dungeon in the game is better than this nomatter how much a lot of people whine about some of them.
And again... it's stupid b/c it's buggy, not b/c it's "hard". Even when you manage to get the worthless "-3 levels vs. the real mobs" tissue-paper NPC "red-shirt squad" up there, they just stood around for half an hour before it started which means most of the decent players waiting to do it already left. The A.I. ignores Line of Sight. And then the Priest spams Fear and instant-hit instant-kill red circles at anything even approaching the steps but you can't see them or get enough time to react while caught in an animation. And even when you've dodged outside the red circle you still get 1 shotted b/c of Bugs/Lag. Apparently the slightest contact with an Acolyte (who's HP also scales immensely) brings the mostly dead Priest back to near full Life. You can't rez or even revivie anyone without dying instantly yourself. And the run back is even more obnoxious than trying to battle-rez ... did I stress enough yet that it's not hard... just stupid??
Yeah I'll never comment on their own Forums about it b/c I just can't be civil about this... no way.(and I can be very civil about so many things in this game that others aren't). But my first impression of every other thing in this game nomatter how poorly balanced or tedious, is still better and more tolerable than my impression of this encounter and I'm never touching it or even mentioning it ever again until I see

Have I stated that I was better?
And just to be clear I did not mean bad as in bad players. I mean bad as in not wanting to work for the rewards.

They would possible be seen as smart if they were not the same people whining about not getting access to Arah.

How do you know they are?
Do you keep exact records of the whinings of everyone farming the ridiculously quick and easy events that for some unfathomable reason give the same rewards as lengthy and difficult events?
Full disclosure please!

I see the people in-game whining about Arah being closed and yet when one of the pre-events starts a few minutes later and you ask them to join they refuse. And then the event fails and those people whine about it again.

And using personal assumption that everyone wants the exact same thing as you in game is better?
People do whine about Temples being locked. And yet they still refuse to listen/help winning them.
