I see alot of people trying to trade gw1 gold/items for gw2 gold/items and vice versa. Has Arenanet released an official stance on this? I don't see how trading of this type could hurt them, it would only help them. I understand they would not be responsible for anyone not coming through on their part of the deal, but I don't see how this would be any different than somene trading pre-searing items for post-searing items in Guild Wars 1, or Hardcore gold for Softcore gold in Diablo 3.
Anything official on gw1>gw2 trading?

I don't think they would even have a stance on this. If they can't stop gold selling, this sounds like it isn't even worth considering enforcing if they don't want it? It won't stop people from doing it if they said "you know what, we don't want this" >.>
Fun while it lasted. I guess.

I imagine it's unsupported and they wont do any thing if some one gets scammed.

I wouldn't expect them to do anything if someone gets scammed. Just trying to figure out if it's a bannable offense.
