What's there left to do in the game?
WVW is nothing but casual and gets boring quickly, I don't quite care for running about maps filling in a checklist. What is there left for me to do.

What keeps the rest of you playing?

The game, the lore, WvW, sPvP, doing events. Finding new things and so on.

What if the dungeon turns out to be horrible though? People get so hyped up about new content that it always fails to live up to stuff. It might turn out to be terrible, then what?

Then you simply have to accept that there will never be a single game in the world that everyone will like and move on.

well then you do everything else on that list i gave you.  i mean, you picked out the ONE thing lol.

the possibilities are endless.  that is why myself and majority of this forum as proofed in the rate GW2 poll thread, blieve it is the greatest mmorpg ever created.

Well.. Play with "hards builds" like S/S warrior, S/S mesmer *all the time! You can't switch weapons!*, Pet Master Ranger something like that.

Wait for Nov. 15th <3. After that, you need to decide: Quit or Stay.

I had Rl friends, that's the thing =/
I'm the only one out of a group of 12 of us that actually still play the game. I'm wanting to continue to play but just can't find a solid reason to....

Get a job? Read some books? Do some charity?

I mean I play casually after getting one character to 80. WvW interests me more now, and I'm curious at how they'll add to it down the road. And there will be updates to everything... but it's still just a computer game.

Achievements!!!!! Like Jumping puzzles, dungeon completions, drinking ones.

Have you done world completion? If not I suggest making an alt and discovering those undiscovered places(owning them with exotics isn`t that fun).

If you find the game boring and nothing to do. You've probably 'beat' the game in a sense, with the goals you had started out with. All that is left is the stuff that you don't want to do.

It would be me similiarly saying if I played BF3 and only played recon sniper and don't like anything else, what do I do? It's just the same. You either move or or simply enjoy what the game has to offer, if you don't like it, I'm sure you can find something else to keep you interested.

If Bloodtau is being serious than I weap for the gaming industries future.. So many players want to be told by other players how to play the game.  If you are not having fun in the game and others are giving you reasons why they are still playing why would you respond negativly to them with what ifs..

Well here is one for you BloodTau, what if a giant asteroid was going to hit the earth in a week.  Do you feel as though you accomplished something with your life?  No?  Get off your ass and go do what you think will make you feel as if you accomplished something.

If you are not having fun in the game stop playing it and move on. Come back in a month or 2.  Do not come onto the forums and turn what people say to negativity...

Thats pretty much how I felt on my first 80.  What now ?  Dungeons are crap.  It make zero sense to waste time in them since they're stats are no better then armor bought from trading co.  SPVP or WVW ?  Like you said gets boring fast.  Lately it seems matches have one side destroying everyone else and the other two give up.  When your side is facerolling it isn't fun either since theres nobody to fight.

I levelled an alt to 80 but have no interest in doing it all again.  

Perhaps if they toned down dungeons to make them less ridiculous & more rewarding I might gain interest.

Then don't.  You know what the game has to offer and it has always seemed like you got more enjoyment out of complaining about the game than playing it.  There's no need to torture yourself if you're not having fun.

Because it's fun! <3. Gw2 is about fun. I LOVE when I'm in front of the Boss with my S/S Mesmer.

Oh yeah, don't forget. You can play at lvl 80 without traits!. Do like me! I play just for fun, WHEN the game came boring, I'll look for another one. But I'm sad about the new games.. Anything new. I think i'll came back for my pokemon *pain*

If you're bored of the game or you've done everything you care to in it and playing with other people doesn't maintain your interest, then you won't be tried and hanged for putting the game down for a while. Go play something else! Maybe come back when new content is released. Maybe only play the game in spurts of new content releases. GW2, like its predecessor, does not punish you for quitting it for a while, or for not playing every day. It doesn't cost you money, it won't put you significantly behind. It was, for all intents and purposes, designed to allow you to play it as and when you want, if you want. Take advantage of that, and stop trying to squeeze blood from a stone. If there's really nothing else of interest to you in the game right now, just take that break and don't feel bad about it.

You may as well quit. There is nothing else to do in the game- hit the market and wait for the next big thing. I mean after all what else is there to do in GW2 other than grind a single set of gear....

Join a coordinated WvW guild or server. Playing WvW on the macro level is the most fun I've ever had in an MMO.

This is a game mate , while true , it is a MMO thus lasts longer than  other games (i think i passed the 400 hours by now , for 60$? that is awesome) , it might reach a point where you "ended" the content you are interested in.

They will add more , just come back as they add stuff.

You should stop making threads like this. We all know you don't like GW2. The only think I can't figure out is why you're still playing and posting. You've creating more than enough threads like this. There don't need to be anymore of them.
