Say that someone was leveling up to a certain level and wanted to finish up by just personal story...at what level should they start their personal story?

Ok, my current answer is vague, and I'm sorry for that, but I don't really want to do the math. I can, however, mention that a personal story quest at the intended level gives XP of about 1/3 way to the next level excluding the XP from killing foes in that quest. From there you could find out how much XP you need to get to level 80 and how many quests you need and do it from there.

Generally though, I'd suggest you do the personal story at the time intended or therearound so you get to level 80 in a steady pace and don't have to grind for it. This is up to personal preference though.

Thanks.  I hear you but I did that on my first 80 and on my second I pretty much did crafting/wvw/some areas (hearts + de's) to get up, and left personal story for the end....I'm 60 now, I may just do it till 70 then hit up Orr.

yeah I don't think personal line is a good way to level, esspecially doing low level story line at higher levels.  I left some of my story for when I was WAY over levelled and I don't feel like it contributed much to xp.  Also, the rewards you get in from your PS are pretty good if you actually get them at the suggested level.  If you wait to do them the rewards are basically throwaways and merchfood.

So I done goofed.  Is there any way to get a back piece other than personal story?
