This.  Clearly the game was launched earlier before all the weapons could be fully developed for all classes.  Either that or the millions of players playing the rng game with the mystic forge haven't found the recipes (which is hard to believe at this point).  There's a reason there are so many Guards, Wars, and Mesmers...not only do they have the most complete looking legendaries, they also have quite a few exotics that can be forged which rival the legendary designs. (eg Volcanus, Foefires, etc.).

Emberspire and Ebon vanguard are nice skins, but they are very basic.

If you have this unlocked from the HoM, the gnarled walking stick. The green mist around it sort of "swirls" around the staff

I posted earlier on in the thread about this staff, but I still find it my favorite staff skin in the game.  I use it on every class that can use a staff because it looks nice and is free.  I can get a staff with any horrendous skin in the game (many are horrible imo, including asuran t3) that fits the stats I want and make it look awesome with a simple trip to my HoM.

IMHO it only looks awesome on any female and/or mesmer character!
I use it on my female human elementalist and on my asura male mesmer and I love it!
Just wouldn't ever think about using it on a male elementalist
With all the purple lightning and pink balls animations it looks way to gay!

Also picking a nice staff here in GW2 depends on the looks and color scheme of your armor.
Since you can't dye weapons in GW2
Makes it a little harder to find a good combination.
