Your Favorite Beer.

I've toured bars and micro-breweries all over California, Massachusetts, and Michigan, but the ones in Frankenmuth are simply the BEST.
So my favorite beer of all times goes to Frankenmuth's very own Pilsener.

In addition, while on vacation in the US, I was suprised by the number of excellent local brews available (with some of the most hilarious names ever, like Moose Drool and Flat Tire).
So the beauty of it is: there will always be a "better" beer. Which is a great excuse to keep drinking them

Though, I disagree with your Pils selection. Okocim and Rogue Morimoto are by far my favorite of the Pilsner family. But, let's face it, Pilsners are a everyman's beer, and by no means a complex brew. They lack most of the substantiveness of the other families of brew.
My current favorite brewery is probably Ayinger. Their celebrator doppelbock is out of this world... Schneider is crazy good too, Their Aventinus and Eisbock are like sex for your palate.
I recently had the privilege of having a bottle (or 3....) or Rochefort Trap 10, which is from Brasserie. Dear god, delicious. Hard to get in the states, but certainly not impossible. I do most of my beer shopping from speciality stores online or make a trip up to Chicago for them.

The dark wheat Hacker Pschorr is damn tasty and it's easy to get. Even here it's not that easy to get many different beers at your next supermarket. We have tons of great beers, most from the small brewery next to your city/village, like the one I posted. It would take hours to name them all.
The main problem is that you can't buy them everywhere. If I went to one of the five supermarkets or beverage store (don't know if that translation is right, but they only sell drinks/beverages there, with and without alcohol) you'll only find Paulaner, Bitburger, Franziskaner and other greater brands. That's why I voted for Hacker Pschorr, because I like it best - from the great brands/brewery.

I'm here, how can I help you?
Oh, this brewery is next to where I live, but I don't really like their beers. Most people here drink it anyways.

Actually there IS a reason to "drink the stuff", many of us enjoy the taste and effect alcoholic beverages have on us. Also like most things if consumed in a reasonable fashion dark beers and red wines come with substantial health benefits.
So anyway, I know it's a bit played out to say but Guinness Draught is my favorite beer, tastes like smooth dark chocolate to me

I'm trying not to get to much offtopic, but drinking juice or milk is not always better then drinking beer. It's like everywhere a question of quantity. Most juices are full of sugar and sugar is not better then alcohol.

First off-wines are better! Also, I don't like Imperial Stouts or such stuff(too bitter for my likes). I'll just review beers I tried. The scores are objective.
Croatian beers(guess why Croatia is first...):
Best: Karlovačko-our national beer. I mean it has to be the best since it really does not have much competition. I've tried better lagers tho. Not too clear and stuff and the smell is ok-ish(not too strong and not too Weak). All in all a solid 3.5/5
Most popular: Ožujsko-bleergh. Like drinking soap in a Water. It is cheap tho. Considering the price I'll give it 2.5/5
Pan-is ok-ish. Nothing impressive. The smell is strong and really beery. The foam(I guess) is rather stiff. A solid 3/5.
Belgian beers:
Best: Hoegaarden-is a delicious White beer. It has almost perfumy smell. The taste is rather sweet. The colour is clouded Golden yellow-just as it should be. I Like it VERY much. A well deserved 4.8/5
Leffe-now I know it comes in number of flavours. I drank brunne. It was almost two years ago mind you since I last drank it. I don't think it deserved any less than 4.5/5.
Stella Artois-now I'll sound ridiculous and many will hate me because of this, but subjectivelly it is one of the best lagers I tasted. I wish to try original Stella from Leuven tho. Our Stella is sweet yet strong(strong in smell especially). But who knows what our local brewery adds in order to Save some materials. It is a fair 4.5/5.
The British Isles n Ales:
Best: St.Peter's Ale-I found three flavours(Honey Porter/Golden/Organic Bitter). Idk if there are more. Honey Porter is awesome for sugar addicts Like me. It is not for everyone tho. Golden is a Paragon of all the lagers round the world(imo). Just the right combination of strength and style with an awesome yellow colour. I often wish for more such Ales. Organic Bitter hasn't left any Special impression on me(can't remember the taste for the Life of me). All in all a sound 4.9/5-it won only on wings of Golden Ale.
O'Hara's Ale-I tried two flavours-bitter and Irish Red Ale. Bitter is good I guess(not into them), meanwhile Red Ale is awesome. It really can't be described with words. Try it if you can(wholeheartedly recommended)! A well deserved 4.7/5
Guiness-not into their flavours so I'll skip them.
Kilkenny-the same as above.
Holland:
AmstelBeer-I've gotta try it. Hm...
Bavaria(funny name for dutch beer)-it surprised me actually(in good way). It is made with sprinkled Water you see, therefore it's foam is not the biggest or stiffest in the block, but the taste of it more than makes up for it. Light and elegant-just my type of beer(it reminds me of certain Austrian beer-we'll come to that later). It is the only dutch beer I've tried, so it automatically gets the best dutch beer award. 4,5/5
Deutschland:
Paulaner-because I feel so generic
Best: Erdinger-oh boy! I get so giddy when I am in presence of Erdinger Dunkel Hefesbier. Oh lol what a divine taste and smell. The ordinary Hefesbier is awesome as well. I haven't tried other products from Erdinger-but I sincerely want to! Note: I've got that Erdinger glass <3! 5/5 without further ado
Becks-is quite alright beer if you ask me. Ironically, from what I hear, our Croatian bottled Becks is actually better than original Becks from Bremen. It is VERY drinkable! 4/5
Bitburger-need to try it...
Czech Republic:
Staropramen-I actually Like that beer. It is sold in various flavours in my country. Staropramen Selection has got to be one of the best. It is sweet, yet bitter. Light, yet complex. I Like it! I Like it very much! 4,6/5! Btw-I tried original Staropramen from Prague and oh boy! What a difference! That's why I gave it such a large score...
Danemark:
Tuborg-or how the giants fell. Tragic story really-they sold out their soul. I still remember being a kid and drinking Tuborg Gold with my dad and eating pizza(a powerful memory if any!). It had an awesome taste and an awesome foam, but... I can't find it ANYWHERE!!! HEPL!!! Tuborg Green is pure undilluted shit. I want my Tuborg Gold(make the Green go away!)
Best-Carlsberg-a man's beer. Oh to watch football(preferably Arsenal )while drinking Carlsberg. Pure joy! It is a bit too strong for me(alcohol %), but it still is 4,6/5.
Austria:
Best(the people from Linz will love me for this): Kaiser bier-well it is just my kind of beer(Light and elegant). It is so refreshing that it is borderland absurd. Every time I Drink it, I think of small cabins under the ever White Silberhorn(yes I know that it is TOTALLY unrelated to Linz-but whatever) and of fresh Air in the Alps. Because they use carbonated(not sprinkled) Water and that begets the use of Ascorbine Acid the foam leaves a LOT to be desired. And the same principle is applied here as it is in Bavaria's case. The taste, the smell and everything is SO good that I flatout ignore it. Usually I get dizzy after 0,5 L of your standard beer(6% alc and 18-20% Hop extract), but not here! Objectivelly, I give it 4,7/5! Subjectivelly, I give it 5+/5(OMG!)
Gosser-is another fine Austrian beer. Can't remember much about it. Can't be lover than 4,3 tho...
Stiegl-I remember seeing my first live Ice Hockey Game(actually it was second, but nvm{the first was KHL Medvešćak-Tilia Olimpija and it ended 1-0 it was a disaster}) when KHL Medvešćak(Zagreb's Ice Hockey Club in EBEL) played against Red Bull Salzburg. And the writing Stiegl upon RB's dress. I've still to try it and I believe that I am in for a treat...
Top 3 would be:
0. Tuborg Gold
1. Kaiser Bier (start counting here)
2. Erdinger Dunkel Hefesbier
3. St.Peter's Golden Ale
3. O'Hara's Irish Red Ale
Well, there we have it...
