...and why



or is it worth getting the traint Armored Attack - 5% of toughness is given as a bonus to power.

then using superior rune of melandru to increase my toughness bonus to benefit that traint

whats your opinions??

Personally running Air, Pack and Water on my warrior for perma swiftness with Signet of Rage and a bit more might up-time. Could get Monk runes too. I'm just too lazy to do AC. And this'd work with the Shout build too.

When i go for Tank/Support set i like to use Superior Rune of the Soldier (6) "Shouts remove a condition" is aweomse with 3 shouts that heal and remove conditions every 20secs.
(1): +25 Vitality (2): +15 Toughness (3): +50 Vitality (4): +35 Toughness (5): +90 Vitality (6): Shouts remove a condition.

When i go for Damage set i like to use  Superior Rune of Divinity because you cant go wrong with the +60 to every stat and +12% crit dmg makes your crits look so much more satisfying. (1): +10 to All Stats; +2% Critical Damage (2): +10 to All Stats; +2% Critical Damage (3): +10 to All Stats; +2% Critical Damage (4): +10 to All Stats; +2% Critical Damage (5): +10 to All Stats; +2% Critical Damage (6): +10 to All Stats; +2% Critical Damage

My choice isn't within your alternatives but I would also use Superior Rune of the Soldier since they add tough/vit and remove conditions (on yourself and teammates) which is what mostly kills you, though that rune is only worth it for a shout build.

That rune is only a total of 165 Toughness * 0.05 = only 8 power, so its hardly worth it on those grounds.

+1 for 6/6 Runes of the Soldier.

Rune of the soldier is easily the best option assuming you lack condition removal.

For my shout build I go Soldier with Cleric armor.
For my tankie/dps build I use Divinity with AC armor.
For my pure dps build I use Ogre with berserker's armor. (I rarely use this set)

I have a full set of Knight's, Berserker's and Cleric's trinkets. I adjust those to my team or my mood.

On the subject of Superior runes of the Soldier, would it be better to level armorsmithing to 400 to make them yourself, or buy them of the TP. They are pretty expensive...

I don't recommend running with Cleric Armor since Healing from Warriors come only from Shouts which have 20/20/24 second cooldowns respectively. Yes, they do add up but they are not as efficient as they are in Guardians or Eles. Healing for Shouts only have .80 multiplier from healing power if I remember it correctly.

If you will be running tri-shout, always use Soldier. Other than that, Melandru Runes will be the best for WvWvW as it absorbs the most raw damage and protects you from conditions by a huge chunk.

Definitely Melandru.  I have gotten so used to how it minimizes the effect of conditions, I am 'stunned' when I run any of my alts that do not have it  The difference is major, and makes surviving much more possible when facing multiple enemies that throw allot of conditions.
Since warriors almost have to go melee if they don't want to take forever to take something(s) down, Melandru helps a great deal with that style of combat.

Molten Lodestones account for the vast majority of the cost, and they're very difficult to farm with any reliability. You may save some money by being able to craft them yourself but you're likely to end up buying most of your lodestones anyway.
