Hi, I appreciate anyone who is reading this and attempts to help me. This is my first time building a computer. So please, if any of these parts are not compatible or if certain parts are a bad value or poor quality let me know.

I have a mouse, keyboard, and Windows 7 which is why I have none of those on here.

My budget is around $1000-$1200

I apologize that I wasn't able to put this better on the forum. I couldn't make my wish list public or anything.

Spend the bit extra and get the i5-3570K. There's really no point in getting the old 2500K.

I would consider getting the 560 TI or 660 Ti over the 550 TI, and they are in a similar price range. You will be more future proof with those cards.

That PC case is very cheaply made lots of bad reviews, The motherboard comes with free 8gb of 1600 ram so why buy 1866 you will see no performance change, the monitor has built in speakers that will probably sound as good as those that you have chosen, For 1K to $1200 you could do alot better. The HDD is nice but overpriced, no SSD, and no CPU cooler. A few more $ would get you alot better video card (I hope your not going to buy 2 of them just so you can say your running SLI thats a bad move), the PSU is a hit or miss not one that I would buy or recomend. For the i5 2500k over the new IVY really nothing wrong with that since the 2500k will overclock better.

Alot better performance same price with a SSD, CPU cooler ready to overclock, better speaker system, the small things you missed, and a video card that will be close to the SLI of 2 550ti's without the problems of 2 cards.
