So much for "we have to test these chances" therefore "only a few changes made it in".

That would explain so much. 1 Plays thief the other Mesmer.

And this just when I was getting into using support builds for upcoming tournaments in my guild

On another note I managed to get Mist Form working with Cantrip Mastery, I think. You need to equip the Mist Form Utility and then turn the trait on an off and then on again. The cooldown should display 60 seconds. I didn't time it to see if it really was 60 seconds cause my mind was full of **** from this patch.

There's a huge difference between nerfing a build and completely, utterly, gutting a whole profession.
Also, bunker guardians got even a buff, what the flying frak?

calling someone a troll is not contributing.. if you think someone is trolling, report it and stop with the namecalling

If a class is struggling, give it a break unless you have a complete and balanced overhaul in mind.

Calling them completely op sounds pretty dumb though. Have you even played other classes?

Blast finisher only when the spell goes off was actually the nerf I was expecting. Not this.

Oh and for the record, it's becoming increasing apparent / borderline obvious that no one at Anet actively plays ele / main's them and make changes based on wild assumptions and by joining hot join 8v8 for 1-2 matches and making a brash decision.
What happened to "We will nerf some area's but buff others to compensate" statement? I would be fine with a bunker nerf hell even an evasive if they changed our god damn useless traits (and or WHOLE trait lines) and made other damage builds viable. Instead they decided conjure weapons would be the best area to buff. Wow, great idea!

Other then that Support eles are still viable in Pve and dungeons. I was surprised with the Evasive Arcana trait, but by fixing the aoe heals to 5 people only is a good/bad thing... No more zerg healing which is fine if the opposite team is using, but not fine for us xD
Basically pvp eles will need to hustle a lot now

Apparently, there are 2 people at ANet who are working on class balance, and I'm pretty sure they only play thief, mesmer and maybe guardian.

A Tornado nerf.. that I did not expect. It's really hard to explain how did they end up making this decision.
Conjured weapons have seen some improvement - the added stats are not bad. Here's an example of the sword and hammer, reflecting on my own stat changes:
Sword - 2,819 attack > 3,079 attack
100 condition damage > 280 condition damage
Hammer - 10 critical damage > 15 critical damage
39% critical chance > 48% critical chance

To compare this with other games, GW1 was mainly balanced by Izzy with his team. Morello is the main guy balancing League of Legends. Dustin Browder and David Kim balance all of SCII. You don't need that many people to lead balancing. I would assume it would make it rather long in the tooth if more than five tried to get their ideas into place.
