Then I stack might and get to 2k power 1k cond. dmg.
I have like 1k healing and 1800 toughness so I really survive.
Also, I use healing signet and full cantrips.

Even with the nerfs to some other professions I imagine ele to be the worst profession overall now - as ranger and necro got upped.
I just see no reason to play an ele now. It was bad before, but you had a niche - now its...just worse - there is nothing another profession cant do better.

Okay. I get the dissatisfaction with the Ele class, I really wanted it to work but every other class I've just found more enjoyable and powerful.
But switching back to D3? WoW? Rift?? SWTOR?!?!?!?!
Come on here folks. You remind me of those peeps who say they are moving to Canada if the wrong president gets elected.

As for most of the other people who post here about switching classes and switching to other games, this wasn't what i was looking for when I started this tread.
What i would like to know is simply this, Elementalist got nerfed, what build do you see being viable when it comes to Tpvp? Thanks
(Please don't be rude and post another class or none)

Build:
http://www.gw2db.com...|48789|0|0|0|0|
My channel: http://www.youtube.c...e?feature=guide
Point is I can combo 4 and 5 on earth to gain more might (6 stacks) and from sigil of superior battle I get 6 more stacks. Every stack is 35 cond dmg and power. The guardian on my tournament team uses staff and give us 15 stacks of might....
So I end up healing, damaging both, direct and condition, and with my exceptional control and movility.
Cheers.

Now I am "bugfixed" down to meager 7 or 4 without Arcane Wave.
Also Staff is no longer viable. In tPvP.
The only build that is probably unaffected is D/D. But it's too much of a niche build, both as a bunker and as a roamer. Staff bunker was able to do wonders on mid point 3v3's. D/D not so much. S/D roamer had might stacking, strong zoning, and some teamplay-burst potential (ally immobilize + ele burst). Might stacking got gutted, zoning / teamplay suffered accordingly. D/D never had any true zoning and D/D's might stacking while hurt was not as crucial to the character anyway. D/D always was about CC / mobility / survivability to me. Not teammate support, not burst.
So yes. Its either D/D, or XCom now. Or maybe LoL. Or Natural Selection 2.
Edit: Just learned that Magnetic Grasp Leap finisher is bugged now and does not reliably work. That, and responsiveness of MG is now worse and selfstun is much more likely.
So D/D got a slap as well. Aura D/D especially suffered. And that was the only "fun" build that was still around after EA murder.
With 2 designers working on PvP ( https://forum-en.gui...n-t-show/746290 ) I'd expect positive changes to come in... 3-4 months, and only in form of a couple of bugfixes, like DT applying blast on the casttarget (does not really matter since target is never in a field) and "Fixed Magnetic Grasp tooltip to reflect that this skill is not a Leap Finisher" to gut Aura D/D completely and with it gut the last interesting / viable tpvp Elementalist.

Turns out D/D had it hard as well.
Poor Elementalist.

The only even remotely viable tpvp spec that was not srsly affected by November 15 is D/D cantrip bunker. Which was never too popular because it was inferior to other options. And other options (bar staff bunker which was actually great) were barely good enough for a team spot.
So Eles are now at step 0, "too inferior to everyone to consider for a team". That is, until we find some NEW UNINTENDED BUG to build a fun and powerful character around so ANet can fix-kill it again.

If your whole playstyle is down to a single build... well, needless to say no one is going to miss you. Adapt or get the f out.
