looking for ideas, suggestions.

i've been randomly hopping events during plinx respawn time and am wondering what the most effective method might be.

Yeah just play the game.  WvW is a lot of fun and if you do it right you make money and dont even notice.  Of course it isnt like farming a glitched event or anything that super farmers are accustomed to, but it is worthwhile and enjoyable.

OK to clarify, the Plinx event chain was nerfed in the last patch. I am curious what events people are now running in between, if in any specific order.

I never aimed for karma, since I'm certain I'll have more than a million by the time I have ~600g required for the rest of a legendary. With that in mind, these are good for loot.

Pentinent/shelter is good if you have a second monitor and don't mind browsing the internet for a few minutes whenever there's downtime. There's also an event to escort an explorer through some gorillas that I noticed popping up frequently at shelter.

Arah event if it fails (and if it's not bugged on your server, herp derp). "Capture the promenade" part is good for loot and when that fails, defending the camp is even better.

Grenth is great whether it succeeds or fails, but if it succeeds you don't get to repeat it. So there's that.

I've actually rarely done Plinx because I seem to get more loot from these other ones (I get to tag less mobs on Plinx because it's so overzerged) and karma is not a factor for me.

YE, the nerf made the only event keeping us busy proficently farming karma, even a boring task.

I don't know about money but if your goal is just to farm karma for your Legendary, you might want to notice that Obsidian Shard can now be purchased with Fractal Relics instead of karma (15 relics per shard).

This basically means that you can buy your Gift of Mastery and your Clovers with 0 karma.
You'll need about 7200 relics instead of the ~1 million, though.

If the dungeon is not too hard, it might be the next thing to farm.

How exactly was Plinx nerfed? Just curious, haven't had the time to go farm it yet to see for myself.

Apparently they increased the time between runs and I was hearing a lot of people whining about a fire storm last night.  *shrugs*
