Caltrops nerfed?

I was testing a few things and noticed that caltrops only stacks up to 6 and won't go over that by itself. Has it always been this way? I never really used it all that much before.

Edit: I am referring to the utility Caltrops, not the trait :)

Strange I was sure that caltrops was a ~5 second bleed with 25 points in deadly arts. It's now 3 and 3/4 seconds. I could be wrong thou as I never really used them.

I use it, but never really payed attention to the specifics.  I'm sure it has been nerfed though, anets plan is to obliterate the whole thief profession.

I don't even want to login anymore to play/test this.  They ruined most builds that rely on dagger offhand.

d/d and p/d are still fine, only build hit the nerf hard is s/d

You must be missing a couple of neurons.  The 2 Dagger Offhand skills got nerfed.  -50% dancing dagger, -33% cloak and dagger.  This affects every build that uses Dagger Offhand.

It was always a 3 second bleed, untraited.  Trick was to get yourself 34%+ condition duration to get the extra tic out of it to make it a 4 second bleed, which makes it stack up to 8-10 at once. Usually 10% or 20% from 10/20 points in deadly arts, plus +15%/+25% bleed duration on certain weapon or armor mods.

true, but s/d got the 3rd nerf on tactical strike's daze, which is the bread and butter ability of the setup.

Basically, with s/d, 3 out of the 4 abilities you use regularly in pvp got nerfed.

^yup, and the +10% dmg is just like adding salt to our wounds...+10% tactical strike dmg (which still hits like a baby) but -33% dmg on c+d and 50% on dd....Anet has a way of balancing things...

wtf is 10% dmg going to do when it does little to no dmg anyway...
