So far i've use cheap food like blueberry tarts but crafting them one by one is a pain.

Maybe someone found a cheap recipe and / or to craft them in bulk ?

For what purpose do you want to use the commendations?  Outside of the sigils, the weapon skins are identical to the 9800 Karma Lionguard (lvl 40) skins.  The salvage kits and high end harvesting tools are 250 stacking convenience ONLY - the absolute cheapest way to craft the commendations come incredibly close to the cost of buying an equilalent item off a general goods vendor.  Black Lion Keys are actually CHEAPER to just convert gold-->gems and buy them off the store, especially the 5/450 deal.

TLDR: They are really only worth it if you have stuff lying around that you would rather turn into commendations instead of selling on the TP.

Totally agree. If at least was an unique ubercool skin, i can understand. No reason at all to even spend 1 minute on this stuff, for a lv40 skin. As expected, Anet went cheap about design lol

Oh god thanx for the tip i though they were the expensive ones so i though i could get a skin or 2 for cheap.
