Semantics ....
Fairly well known SBi had great coverage for those timezones back then.

1.) The timezone difference is 1 hour between the Asians that play on SBi.
( Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia ) is 1 hour gap with Seoul

2.) SBi were always strong in that time period. In early T1 majority of our coverage back then was Korean ( WM, Evil, DD ). They also constituted the largest guild representation for SBi WvW at the time.

3.) That timezone decimated any T2 match-up at the time.

4.) At one point SBi even had moderate Aussie coverage with guild like DU ( Downunder ). This provided some overlap.

5.) TA guilds from SEA, HK and Taiwan came over. We lost that group of Taiwanese when they moved to SoR? shortly after.
Some of the TA guilds are very WvW focused and some have mixed membership.

6.) Numbers in guild profiles easily deceive those that are not actually in WvW with those guilds. By sheer numbers + hours over a week War Machine constitute a large part of our Asian / SEA coverage. Its a trifecta of morale + numbers + hours

7. ) Our smaller dedicated WvW SEA guilds would spend same amount of time as WM over the week and provide much of the leadership + morale on the maps they are on.
SBi's large Asian timezone guilds have many members and tend to hold a borderland. By their own admission they are not hardcore WvW.

Thanks for clearing up what constitutes our oceanic/sea/ population. You may want to look into who is holding EB for you too :).

Dude, hope you feel better.  And your missing some epic fighting.  If you can, ask your server-mates about the battle in DB in SoS BL where they had outer and inner wall down and was denied the cap.  It was epic fighting.

These ppt swings are ridiculous. This is not the tier 1 from launch.

Cheers to the SoS people trying to rally the server in the "off hours." keep up the good fight.

Well points and scores are mostly decided by whoever has most people on at that time. Nothing else really.

Excuse me, I played for hours every single day for the last 3 weeks and I lead one of the largest WvW guilds on Blackgate, every one of those players out with me in force. Sadly, the rest of our server didn't play with the same resolve. I accepted that and we wore it. We're tearing it up in Tier 2 right now and happy to see some new faces.

Frankly, I wasn't making excuses for a 2v1. Do me a favor and look up my posts. I wrote a thread on exactly why the 1st place server should be focused. You won't find excuses here. I've been the voice of reason saying that 2v1 is the nature of the game, especially at this tier of competition. I enjoy how you took my post out of context, possibly because it hit a nerve. Regardless, I don't care. All I am saying is Blackgate started out strong in the first week of the match and built a 20k point lead, which we then blew and lost by 30k. There aren't any excuses as to why that happened. We lost, SBI showed greater resolve, plain and simple.

It's only a matter of time until you and SBI decide this "newcomer" needs to be put in their place and systematically wipe them off the map as long as they are in first. Then, you will continue to try and wipe them to try and break their spirit.

Take a look at who you are quoting next time before you assume that I have no idea what I'm talking about and that I would honestly sit here and make excuses. For your sake, you better knock SoS down, or you might not be one of the 2 servers that get to see Blackgate back in tier 1 in a week.

Okay, perhaps using your quote to make a general statement about people using  2v1 as an excuse was not a good idea. I didn't mean you specifically, I mean ANYONE who complains of 2v1 is LAME. The WvWvW is ALL 2 v1. JQ is always fighting 2 servers at once. SBI is always fighting two servers at once. Blackgate is always fighting two servers at once. But claiming you are the ONLY server fighting the other 2 is nonsense (not that you claimed this, but others did and others will) And I did not mean to imply that YOU folded, but your SERVER sure did.

If you've read anything I've written about BG over the past 3 weeks, I've said that you guys rock (your dedicated core). I have nothing but love for BG's hard core guilds. But your server folded. The Gate Snapped Shut.

You can check my post history and see how many times I said you guys killed me personally over and over again....

I'm hoping this is one of this misunderstandings and not some lingering conspiracy thing...

Yeah during weekdays, but weekends are usually a little less radical in point swings.  Most likely due to pve event and dungeon stripping population away during the weekend.

sos = sea of PUGs? lol i think their alliance recruited anyone with a keyboard and mouse.
PRX would get wiped without Tsym holding their hand

anyway, we're only down 13k, which is less than what BG had on us

wow nice job SoS.

if u can hold at least 200 ppt while Wm is on for a whole week and then destroy them with your powerful NA. You may get  this match.  :D

** just be careful their Night capping during Weekdays that's how they won, they also play overnight through Eu time **

Big words from a player who is likely to taste defeat this week.  Let me guess since you guys started on HoD and bandwagoned over to SBI when things got tough, you will bandwagon to SoS next week assuming SoS defeats you?

SoS would be more than welcoming to WM to supplement our non-NA coverage zones.

If chestthumping was a reliable indicator of server strength, JQ and SBI clearly have us outmatched.

You guys got distracted by the shinies, and our NA contingent was very pumped for this fight.

The question for  the week is, can we keep up this momentum in NA primetime all week, and how will our Oceanic contingent fair in their first real challenge against equal numbers in their time.

No one...ok only a few...are stupid enough to believe that the trend set Friday night will continue all week.  What's happening this morning is clear proof that nothing is settled.
Your comments always give me a good chuckle in hypocrisy

Clearly, you haven't been in Warmachine long.  Otherwise you would know PRX goes on a map by themselves with no other guilds. So, idk how they get their hands held.  So, maybe you should head back to your original Dragonbrand server and stop coat tail riding.

It's good to see that SoS is the only server that does not have 99% of their server population killing Karkat garbage. HOORAY FOR PvE! SBI has outmanned on all 4 maps, I think right now it is about 1 SBI and JQ for every 20 SoS.

If I were SoS I'd be going full bore WvW during these events too. It's the perfect opportunity to pad a lead against SBI's brutal week-long coverage. Plus I'd imagine the server doesn't want to get yelled at by PRX again. :P

The same thing is going on in our match right now, which isn't a surprise. Both SoS and BG have something to prove, so players are more willing to pass on a one-time event to support the server in WvW.

You should have all the maps capped with the very few people that are online from JQ and SBI.
