Our guilds / players have to start turning up for WvW or the lead will be insurmountable. I think most don't even realize yet that SoS has good coverage and very motivated.

In the matchup between SoS, SoR, and CD, SoS had a large lead, then a large deficit, then a decent lead to win. A lot of guilds came over from Dragonbrand, and there we saw a 30k lead over Blackgate disappear in a few hours. People in SoS know that a 30k lead is nothing.
For me, I've only been able to play a couple hours so far because I have my in-laws in town, but it's been pretty fun. There is always something to do and some place to defend (which was not always the case in T2).

SBI and JQ are fielding less and less as the weeks goes by. Motivation is missing here, something SOS is not lacking atm.

And yes it is possible to overcome this deficit because we have seen hit happen before all to easily. It is still anyones game.

SBI had about the lowest turnout I have ever seen over the weekend. The new content was clearly a big attraction, and we at SBI were only able to effectively contest 1 map at a time.
I don't think the match is lost for SBI.
At the same time, I think it could be over by this time tomorrow if SBI has another low turnout today.

SBI/JQ are probably tired. and pve event/thanksgiving messing things up.
MMAC isn't on JQ anymore. They were JQ's largest WvW guild. JQ is sort of underperforming w/o their coverage and in general JQ's just lacking morale as a whole.
From what we know the majority of the MMAC's commanders/old schoolers left GW2 for PS2, and those whose who staying behind transferred to SoS a few weeks back with that Emerald Council (JQ's night crew) everyone was fussing about and formed under a new name to play quietly pound on JQ and send them to T2. Some of MMAC's JQ loyalists made a new guild called AoS on JQ to try to patch the holes in the ship, but we aren't holding up so well 24/7 and are seriously short staffed as a server. I miss the old days personally, but JQ.com's politics ruined the server's morale and now those hardcore players who left are lolstomping us from the shores of SoS. We'll probably be in Tier 2 in no time, but it will be a refreshing change to see some new faces and have JQ being competitive again in the tier it belongs in.
so TL;DR, JQ has no MMAC/EC/night presence anymore, JQ has huge holes in coverage and is probably going to finish up in Tier 2 after this match

Otherwise, score aside, we have had a huge amount of fun fighting both JQ and SbI again. It's been a long time since we were matched up and it's exciting to see all the new guilds on all three servers fighting it out. New tactics are being seen as well.
Hope you guys are having as much fun on SbI and JQ as we are!
War Machine(s) have been the most challenging for me and my guild so far but we're up for it and we're loving every single encounter!

Even after the week is over, we will meet again next week, and the results and participation will be much different.
Noone is underestimating JQQ of SBI. Would be foolish to do so, and after a week or two in T1, we will see how SoS turnout looks.

Oh please WM, do not come to SoS. I love you guys, I love fighting killing and being killed by you but please don't come to SoS. If you did, SoS would be unstoppable and it would cause SoS to fall apart like HoD did in the first few weeks. It's fun for a minute winning everything but the queues and lack of competition would be horrendous.

We had fun on Blackgate but they want different things out of the game to DiE and ultimately it was not a good fit either way. SoS has the attitude we want in a server and we are very happy with the move.
