What does Stormbluff Isle and Jade Quarry have to prove to just another server entering Tier 1 that they haven't proven already? I think everyone from SBI and JQ deserves to do other things than reward-less WvW. Enjoy the Thanksgiving Weekend NA and enjoy some new rewarding PvE content.

Every server is Gung-Ho when they first enter tier 1. They all do well in the beginning, it's fact. We'll let you have fun in your new sandbox but when time to let another server in, it's time to go.

pretty sure you guys just saw the hardcore wvw guilds out there during the event wasn't all them either. All numbers were low but no one showed for JQ and SBI. I guess no one on your server thought that some on our server would take advantage of this and start PvDooring behind your backs?  point of the matter people showed up on SoS and no one showed up for you guys but we all took a hit this week the same hit.

For starters, you aren't stating facts.  The thing is that you should just GG-up and move along.  Everyone's NA players will be busy coming up.  Every server had folks who are being useless carebears this week.

Except not every server in this matchup didn't just enter tier 1. There's a difference from a server just getting into tier 1 having something to prove and the motivation to drive people away from PvE (see: yelling) for a week to make their mark in WvW than two servers who have been there and done that. So yeah, It's a fact every big guild that does WvW on JQ was doing PvE. I know because I'm looking at it right now. I know because it happened during Halloween. These are facts.

Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up along with other religious holidays. All sides will be seeing a numbers drop, this is fact.

If you're in a WvW guild on JQ or SBI and you're tired of all the qq's and bandwagons on your server, SoR, IoJ, EB, and YB are all good servers to transfer to as they still need good dedicated WvW guilds to move up and they want to fight.  I've been reading on the Anet forums how WM was recently looking for a new server.  I also hear SYN is not as happy as they used to be anymore.

Maybe now is the best time.

its glaringly obvious you guys are not fighting full servers since the new content was released ... so why so much denial. We can't really dictate how populations on our servers want to play when it comes to new shinnies.

SBI masses have their own motivations but from their actions we could infer its not a big deal to lose. Forum posters don't exactly channel the mixed population we have. I'm sure once we have taken the loss, people will notice. I really hope after that we have something to prove & be motivated to SoS down.

Yup...  same here.  I haven't done my PvE contents.  My characters are all leveled up during WvWvW.  I was burnt out from facing off with SOR and IOJ for the past few weeks.  I'm sure many people were as well.  Oh, btw, if you have time, checkout JP in EB to see who has the bulk in there camping it...  I'm just impressed to see organized guild teams not helping out in the field but busy setting up siege and all in JP.  Makes you wonder now eh?

I guess what most of us didn't want any excuses.  PvE special contents, holiday events, lack of coverage (gaps in coverage), lack of motivation, holiday celebrations, vacations, burnt out, boredom, whatever...    No excuses since each server has its own strengths and weaknesses.  Just like it would be completely pointless to even say you're being doubled teamed.  If you are doubled teamed, it means that you are better than the both of them combined, win or lose.  No need to say more about that...

I dont get why SBI and JQQ insist on being forum warriors, if they didn't spend all their time making up excuses on why they are losing this match would be alot more exciting..

That's a bit excessive considering the time of the year it is. We all want to come into the Borderlands very strong to give our best offense and defense but that just isn't going to happen much. We had a three week battle with Blackgate because it was just an up and down battle due to Halloween and any other events on all sides of the battlefield.

There are just other things that take precedence over Guild Wars 2. Call it an excuse, call it real life. Call real life an excuse. Fact of the matter is - It's that time of the year people have stuff to take care of, places to go, people to see.

Hilarious. First some people from SBI and JQ criticize BG from not being able to handle T1. Now those people claim they are 'taking a break' since they have nothing to prove in T1. The self-entitlement from some on both servers is ridiculous. I sincerely wish SoS becomes as strong as the old HoD to help bring the ego of those people in check.

There's always an excuse. Halloween, taking a break, burnt out, don't care about match. It always comes when a server is losing.

I think you will find that there are equal numbers of forum warriors on all sides, just do a count of SoS, SBI and JQ folks in this thread alone. Hey we even have folks from other servers visiting..... to join the fun. Right now I am wondering if Vanu4life is another menaace alt

Whats also true is there are many folks on all servers who very rarely post here and just get on and fight... thats what we want right?

Don't be so quick to paint any server in the blood of their more vocal forum warriors. Every server deserves a bit more respect than that.

So the dedicated JQ guilds are still fighting?  That's good to hear.  It's times like this where you find out who the real WvW guilds are and who the coattail riders are.

If you were in the match up then you would know that..... sure the numbers are low this week but there are folks still out there fighting and I see the same core names. We are hardly rolling over and have had ppt leads at times. I personally have been levelling a thief in WvW this week. Still getting the hang of it, feel like paper compared to my warrior but the stealth helps.

Excuses about thanksgiving, excuses about your CAREBEARS, excuses about family, excuses about how you don't care.  It all adds up to a really comical narrative... especially when you go back and read the first couple pages of this thread for context.

I'll just spell it out for you then.  Your posts are full of excuses and throwing around those excuses when you're losing reeks of bad sportsmanship.

If this match does end up in a SoS victory as it's looking like (not going to guarantee it either way as theres a lot of time left for a side to come-back if they choose). They deserved it simple as that. No one from JQ will discredit that and I don't think SBI will either. Sure people had holidays (myself included which makes this fun of a match up frustrating but it happens and it affects us all). The PvE events were people's choice to skip SoS took advantage of it and skipped it can't blame them nor can we blame the people out there for trying to get some of the precursors that apparently dropped like candy over the event. SoS deserved this win they earned it and they taught us a lot and it was a lot of fun fighting you guys. I look forward to fighting you guys again and hopefully all sides will be at their peak in numbers (not a jab just no side was at full strength due to holidays). Good luck keep up the fighting everyone I'll be on late night to have some fun fighting SBI and SoS oceanics.
