SoS used to do really well during oceanic primetime (we were one of the two "go-to" servers for australian guilds - IoJ begin the other one). We had minimal NA/Asian/EU coverage so we used to go from +695 for a few hours down to +0 during NA primetime. We were T4 ranked 10 for a few weeks. Our losses to FA and TC were weird as we never faced those players directly.
About five weeks back Defiance (RUN) moved to SoS, but left after about four days because they felt too lonely in the NA timeslot.
About four weeks back we had the DB guilds (TSym, Sexy etc), then PRX and RMA, and a few others, all move in the space of about a week.
The only other major guild that has come in since is DiE last week.
I really like where SoS is at the moment. It is really is the co-operation, and mutual respect between guilds, that is proving successful.
PRX is great, but I think if you think that you only need to worry about PRX then I am not sure you have been playing much against us this week?
I believe this is the most accurate post about how the SoS as we know now was formed. I remeber playing against SoS during the betas and they had the best Oceanic crew of all servers during that time. That was one of the main reasons for RMA to join SoS, we knew we gonna have a good coverage during the Oceanic/Asia timezones. Also we had a talk with our former allied TA friends from PRX who made us decide in favor of SoS and not other options we had at the time, we were even considering EU servers to join. Also our prime time is between EU and NA, being EU time frame our worst at SoS in my opinion =/
