Just wondering how others have found the first part of this Fractal - where you have 30s to get all 3 Wisps through a changing labyrinthe of traps & mobs. My group were rolling through the fractals just fine until we hit this and, about an hour later, a couple of people decided to just call it a night. So, where we missing a trick? Was ours bugged (we kept having a Champion and Legendary respawn in the middle)? Was my group just bad (I know it wasn't awesome, but I've had plenty worse)?

Same here, we had no problem until we hit this one, the champion was respawning awefully fast, the moss guy chasing you all over the place, and when we managed to get all 3 we always failed to return to the place wehre we are supposed to put them in time, we called it a night too.

Just keep exercising, it took us 30mins and then we got through.
Btw, you can also jump over some walls, especially the walls just in front of the Wisps.
Skills we used:
Ranger with his elite which provides stability + condition removal + condition removal pet.
Me (as an ele) with air magic trait, swiftness and flash.
Warrior with swiftness, condition removal and stability.
It's just a matter of exercise.
And no it's not really hard, cause somebody dc'ed in the middle of that and there was no way he could re-join us.

Its a matter of field awareness.
There are tripwires everywhere, and mobs will cripple and knock you down.
move around the tripwires, dodge mobs, and bring swiftness.
condition removal and stability are also game changers here.

The Swamp was our first and the only we really crumbled on. Team work gets it done

Champions, mobs, traps are supposed to re-spawn every 30 second, the goal is that you guys need to solve the puzzle. Have 1 Player for each wisps, count down and the 3 at the same time take a wisps and run. there are some walls that you can jump. Also it helps:
-Condition removal and stability because of the traps (you have 30 seconds, so you must hurry).
-Speed boosters or Speed buffs.
-Mesmer are good there with their portal and stuff.
-Guardian that removes conditions with shouts also helps a lot.

I just did it with 3-man after 2 quitted, it was hard, but it's doable, and I imagine that with 5 people it's way easier.

There's usually one node that is the farthest and usually the hardest so double up on that one and let them grab and start the timer. Backup person runs ahead and runs interference...

It would have been a struggle in a PuG but me and the guildies did it on vent and it made it after a few tries.
