hi guys, i havent actually bought guild wars 2 yet, i know its amazing, and have become quite infatuated with it!
my main concern is, can I actually run it!

here are my specs

CPU: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU E6500 @ 2.93GHz
CPU SPEED: 2.9 GHz
RAM: 2.0 GB
os: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 32-bit

graphics card : Intel® G41 Express Chipset

Pixel Shader version: 4.0

Vertex Shader version: 4.0

the only thing that seems to be lacking is

Dedicated Video RAM : requires : 256MB . You have :64 MB

with that in mind, i have been into the BIOS and set the DVRS to MAXIMUM!

my display resoluton is 1366 x 768

There are mixed reports about being able to play with PC's that do not meet the minimum requirements around the net. The best bet would be to take advantage of the "Invite-a-friend free-trial weekend" event that is going on now. If you send me a private message with an e-mail address I would happily give you one of my invitations, and hopefully you can download the game with enough time to give it a try.

I run a similar setup except that i have an ATI 4650 GPU. Runs smooth with lowest settings.....

I cannot play due to lag when there are hundreds of people on screen i would opt for more of everything more RAM..more CPU and definately more GPU power.
