I like the line about the release date being on the board: when its done.

I still love it how ArenaNet went with fans to create an event. That's wonderful and things like that are sure to make this such a great game.

I want a real release date! :(

"When it's done" made me laugh - on the panel day and now.
:D

Despite the questionable grammar, it's nice to see this article getting floated out.

Maybe it's a hint? The smiley face eyes show 11 to me. ;)

Anet should create an open competition for fans to send in ideas for event chains

OMG now we know the release date! :o

The mouth of the smiley clearly indicates a U, as in "Uno", or one. So, we know: 1-

There are roughly 3 inches between the eyes, so that clearly indicates a 3: 1-3-

and the eyes CLEARLY make an 11. Soooo.... 1-3-11! :D

xD spread the word people, we figured it out.

Come on G4, get with the GW2 program! It's a dynamic event chain not a quest. Quests are so WoW. ;)

I don't really blame them, explaining the dynamic events system in a reasonable amount of space is not an easy thing. They can be considered roughly equivalent to quests.

Best I can come up with is comparing them to the temporary holiday quests that appear and disappear when holidays come around...then go away when the holiday is over.

Except on a much larger scale, lots of them going on at once, and on a much much MUCH quicker timeframe...and they lead into one another.

So which dating system are they using.
Does it mean January 3rd 2011? or March 1st 2011 (which does fall on a Tuesday - usual release day for games in America?)

Or are we all just reading too much into things again? ... NAH
