With the new dungeon Fractals of the Mists, ArenaNet hit a new standard. Will they ever revamp the old dungeons, atleast the explorable versions?
I've seen them talk about updating the rewards for the old dungeons but nothing on if they will change how they are played.
What do you think?

I doubt it. I just see them adding more dungeons like this 1 but not changing the old ones.

I think Anet will at least for a while , bet on the skins to get people still doing the old dungeons.
The was supposed to be about skins after all. Even if Anet is changing that now.

More like they'll take pieces of the old dungeon levels, spin a few changes on them, and stick them in the fractals, maybe.

They should try and cut and paste some new ones made out of the old ones.

I would love to give you the exact quote I'm referring to, but it's hard to find it from 1000's.
This is from Dev Robert, which is along the same line, not as direct as the one I'm trying to refer to:
To say the dungeons will be the SAME 6 months from now isn’t going to hold up either. We’re going to be doing lots of updates to dungeons, changing things that didn’t work out, and introducing new features as we find the time/tech to implement them. Our hope is that dungeons will stay nice and fresh for a long time
It was during a point where many were complaining about dungeons and not being worth to run. It went well beyond drops.
I just stated what I read, ripley's believe it or not, no matter, it's what it is, until it isn't.

i dont think they can change the 8 launch dungeons around too much because of the story elements tied into them. i could be totally mistaken but your personal story actually unfolds parallel to the dungeon story so i dont see those changed around too much.
now that they have the Fractals coding template, i dont see it being too hard for them to just add more like the fractals later.
