[Blackhoax]

While everyone was busy doing the Lost Shores events, I wanted no part in that PVE garbage.

So I joined the borderlands on my own and ended up winning a 1v3 match at one point. It actually started as a 1v4, but one of em ran away. Funny thing is, I soloed that exact guy twice about 30 minutes prior.

It looks like a 1v2 for most of it, but if you watch closely, i threw one off the bridge with a Temporal Curtain. The guy that was thrown off is the same one that tried to rez the first Elementalist I downed.

Needless to say, these guys were bad. The game is balanced enough that a 1v3 with similarily skilled people, the 3 will always win.

Note that two of the players you fought were up-levelled.

As much as I like old-school highlight reels, this is neither compelling nor anything most half-decent players couldn't pull off against similarly bad players.

It also doesn't help that you created a thread in the WvW forum to brag about it.

I see my communication skills failed here.  Let me explain:

I didn't make this video to "show off my skill" or any such garbage.  I was frustrated with the fact that with Lost Shores going on, no one was in WvW.  There was literally maybe a dozen people from my server (SBI) on at this time.

I find organized WvW to be incredibly fun, so I made this video to inspire people to get in to WvW even when server population is low due to time of day, or when PVE content being released.

I wanted to show that even by yourself you can make a difference, and you can stay on while you wait for your friends to log in.  I held that bridge, killed dolyaks, and even soloed the camp a couple times.

I hoped to inspire you to get back into WvW, not try to show off how big my dick is.

It was the language used and the fact that it wasn't a big deal that made me particularly apathetic and uncaring.
If you would give an epic speech to rally the forces to try their hardest in WvW I might applaud you, but this just comes off as douchery.

I'd have to agree with one of the people posting earlier, the people who are scaled up will hardly ever cause a threat to you. I can drop most people who are scaled up in about 2-3 seconds myself as a support thief. That doesn't mean they're bad, they just got shafted on the stat department. And it is one of the things I never understood, why can we see this arrow? They're encouraging you to be a bully.

May I recommend including your shatters in your gameplay even for once in a while? For example at 1:35min a three clone mind wrack, even if not traited for, would do good burst on the downed and his teammate instead of them standing around doing nothing. Or perhaps using distortion as you finish off that player at 1:37 so you take no damage and are not susceptible to any interrupts.
