I just want to say i don`t like how things are working out around here.I don`t like where all this e sports thing is going (for example qualifier points horrible idea imo).Worst is that playerbase is dying out slowly even before it formed and as much as i have good will and want to play i just can`t ingnore all these issues I stated.
Feel like i`m not alone in this and that`s why i wrote this post to start with.Hate to see all my guild mates go "gray" in the guild tab (aka quiting the game) because there is nothing worse then lost potential.
And in respons to people saying it takes time to build an e sport --there is a difference in slowy going somewhere and growing and players quiting and new ones coming less and less.

Most are true. They do listen to the community, but passing a change in a triple-A MMO is like passing a bill in Congress. It's a mess, too much needs to be approved by every department and then tested so it works somewhat.
5v5 Hotjoin was a direct response to the wishes of the community. Of course they just slapped it on, not even added a new tab for 5v5s to direct people to it...
Dueling would be fun, but isn't needed that much. It would still be a lot of fun, though.
The loading screen bug should be fixed soon, but there are still bugs. Half of the runes are bugged. Many traits are bugged. "Obstructed" crap happenening out of the blue.
Everything else I agree with. GW2 will not become an e-sport, they should just focus on making it fun for those who play it. A game needs to be designed as an e-sport from the ground up, what GW2 has is the token PvP system that many MMOs possess.
