Hey Community,

So about a week ago i managed to buy 200 charges cores. Charged cores were going for 61s. Than the price falled down and i selled them because i thought the will go down to 30-40s. Now they are back to 70-80s....

I'm really no economist and i loses about 50g....

What do you think, will the cores (+ lodestones), especially charged one go back down again?

And why do they rise again?

All I know, is that they dropped, because of the pretty good drop rate of cores in the Fractals of the Mists dungeon.

The price went down because they drop frequently in FotM and everyone was running Fractals last weekend (high supply.)  Now things are settling towards normal, which means a lot less FotM runs (maybe half as much, as people go back to other content in addition to it) and less supply, so the prices going up again.  You could also make the case that the influx of Precursors last sunday has made more people start working towards Legendaries, many of which require Lodestones (thus increased demand also pushing prices up.)

I think the price dropped because people like the op who hoarded them started to panic-sell when they saw them dropping in fractals. Then people realized that you still need a ton of them for almost all cool weapon skins, therefore price went up again.
