Does other servers change guild rotations for maps?  I've noticed SOS changes quite a bit.  This weekend PRX aren't in EB and is chilling in one of the borderlands and aren't even in full force.

You call 50-60 people all [PRX] not full force?!? Not even War Machine fields anything near that on average...

I dont recall seeing over 20 PRX on the BL map they are assigned to... please dont spread random numbers around.

But I agree with you on your previous post. If we lose it's cause we were beaten fair and square (and black and blue ) and hats off to the winner. No point in making excuses, specially when we were calling out people for doing the exact same thing last week.

There's no noticeable difference between T4 and T1 play. Although unfortunate, it's true.

Well, I guess we should take this back-n-forth and turn it into something fun. Here's a working list of the rules of T1. Do add your own, in good taste, not singling out any server by name.

***The Rules of T1***

1.) You will be 2v1'ed. Learn to live with it, and ways to mitigate it.

2.) You cannot actually win. If you win the point total, the excuses on the forums will prove that, actually, you lost. Just behind the scenes. It's best that you know this ahead of time.

3.) There are often thieves/mesmers/guardians from the enemy team in the keeps by the lord's room inexplicably, likely through exploits. The best things to do in this scenario is to take screenshots, post them online, defame a server while absolutely losing your mind on the boards for about 30 minutes... and then, once the moderators delete said posts, go back to playing and act like nothing happened.

4.) People who either are in point leads, or feel that they should be, will provoke you on the forums. The best things to do is to spend hours replying. Forum fights help your server in game the most... and ultimately there's a point to it, so your time isn't wasted.

5.) You will be 2v1'ed.

6.) You will be 2v1'ed.

7.) Theres 3 teams. You're one of them. All fighting on the same map. ... guess what will often happen? (2v1).

8.) If you win, guilds will switch to your server as will PuGs with commander tags, and will start screaming at everyone in map chat. These are the bold, extremely intelligent and informed leaders you've been waiting for. The fruits of your labor. Embrace them - for they are the only trophy of winning WvW. And have fun trying to get them to stfu at reset.

9.) Portal bombs, cloaking abilities, coordinated stun abilities, and groups of more than 3 ppl playing together past 12am ET, are unfair and should be removed from the game. Therefore any and all victories achieved through these means are voided and thus irrelevant.

How much of SoS have you seen out there actually fighting? SoS bl and EB right? The other two BL's have had almost ZERO organized presence on them. Its rather clear that some of the SoS guilds are taking a well deserved week off after busting arse to climb up 9 ranks.

not sure which post you are referring to with the long winded comment. Calmbuddy's was spot on if you took some time to read it.

On your other point. As Vihar said this has been the case for both JQ and SBI for several weeks. I can't speak for SBI directly but its obvious from watching their forces counter ours or us responding to their movements. Both servers deal with a limited population by having limited forces on each map that then make requests for help to mobile forces or where the commanders  want to apply pressure or take advantage of situations they see developing. Where to deploy our limited forces to acheive the best bang for the buck is where to good commanders earn their stripes.

It was clear last week that SoS had enough players to fill most maps at the various prime times. This week its clear you are in the same situation as SBI and JQ.



As you say its only Monday and we have the whole week ahead of us. Hopefuly we will get some more fun fights.

The real concern for me is that all servers are facing this and that's not good for the future of WvW.

If darkfall ends up as another fail I wonder whether there will any GW2 WvW  to come back to

So the question is are we (SoS) going to do what SBI, IoJ, and every other "amazing" server does when we've beaten them; cop excuses, blame transfers and PvE events? Or just admit we were bested. I'll be the guy.

SBI - You guys are playing well.

Honestly I'm thankful. I'm glad we're not winning our first 2 weeks in a row. I would be disappointed if T1 really was as easy as it was last week. Cheers.

You're only a couple pages away from the start of the excuses some of your servermates have already been throwing around, and SBI hasn't even won yet.

No one should act as if their server somehow accepts losses without excuses, unlike the others. We all have our bad apples. Acting condescending doesn't change that.

I think there is a meta game in Tier 1 that isn't necessarily "Better" than lower tiers, but it is definitely challenging. Coverage and numbers only matter during each server's deadzones, which do exist despite being in Tier 1. When all numbers are equal, on a map by map basis, it comes down to understanding the meta game and out maneuvering your opponents. This is the analysis we've come up with and we're (multiple guilds sharing this thought) quite happy with the game. Stagnated content? I scoff at the statement

SBI do not make the same assumption that BG did in week 1 when they where leading. SoS is very capable of fielding the man power needed when the tiime calls for it. Their past record has indicate this during some of there match ups.

No one is taking a "week off" they are still fighting tooth and nail with us. Make sure we keep the pressure.

Had some great fun with WM in JQ borderlands this morning. We had all of the south map covered and moved onto garrison with golems. Don't know if it succeeded in the end, but it was epic.

this video is yesterday. And i achieved 500 points in this way. This is one of SBI.
