Seems like this was all part of the ploy. i never believed EC meant to do anything but troll JQ.com, and Menaace had like everyone on JQ falling for it. Again I'm not the guild leader of MMAC, he's on my Facebook actually and looks like he's traveling and doing his own thing outside of gaming, while all of you talk about him here on the forums like he reads it or posts here (never seen him post here) I haven't seen the guy log on in over a month, but I do see a lot of JQ excuse making as to why they can't wiggle out of a falling 3rd place

So you went from saying you were trolling Mennaace and not in the guild to now saying you were in the guild and have been in 2 games with him and listened to him giving us direct quotes?  LOL, right?  Though we fought MMAC before, I always feared FIRE more.

Edit:  Let's be honest here, you guys all left or quit or whatever story you are trying to feed us right after SoS got into Tier 1 or right before.

Clearly they outnumber us when we have the outmanned buff. I don't think there is any denying that. What you are seeing is the same map tactic that TA/HoD were using. They are keeping the overwhelming majority of their people in one group. It's just a different style of play.

  The "outmanned" buff is not mapwide, it depends on what part of the map you are in.

   So, for example, if you have 50 near a tower, and the enemy has 50ish, there is no buff.

   But if you move with 5 to another part of the map, the buff appears when the enemy has more forces there.

   So, it is very possible to be badly outmanned on the map and not have the buff, depending on where you are.

   I can't link a source for this, but I run into it every day, since my group tends to operate away from the zerg warfare most of the time.....we run north and the outmanned buff appears, we run south and it disappears.

  If we run back and forth we can make it pop on and pop off.

  In fact, we sometimes know a zerg is incoming because the buff will suddenly appear on us out of the blue.

Only Menaace quit the rest of the wvwers of significance went to AoS and have enjoyed fighting SoS and SBI. Keep up the good fights.

Well, I've heard so many versions of his story, it sounds like it was more than him.  And he claims a month here.  We got SoS on the 16th, and this picture was taken on the 8th (end of the week hence me playing a lvl 3).  Assume you guys split the following week from him/them because I know AoS showed up the following reset.

We split off the second week of the blackgate matchup. I was a part of all the meetings and know both stories as I was part of his beloved "email" chain. Also was on for both meetings the one where he talked about going to SoS and riding PRX coattails. We as a group didn't want to move because quite simply the problem was one person. I have screens of him asking if we would go to SoS to be with his PRX friends. And to address the loss of more than just him that's partially true we lost members who quit the game but not to MMAC anyone who still plays followed the core that rolled to AoS. We are nothing like MMAC we are a part of the server and the community not out there trying to be group that fractures the community. JQ is still a community and is better for going through what we have.

Yea, like I said, his stories are so all over the place it's hard to just say it's just him or some that went with but as Stei said, some have quit as well and it's just him.

Sure Jade quarry is not #1 or even #2 but we are facing a problem every server is facing which is the lack of WvW numbers. Whether this remains will be the test of a server's true community. I think I can safely say that JQ will persevere and survive we made it through Menaace and the fracturing of a community but we are on the mend and are better because of it. Was it easy? No. Did it require us to do anything different? No Jade Quarry has been very supportive as a whole as we went through this transition and this is one of the reasons we have maintained a tier 1 standing for so long as a server. It's not just the individual players out there but its our community out there every day and every night having fun and enjoying the match regardless of score. And we will continue to go out nightly and have fun fighting SoS and SBI two very good servers who have proven they are Tier 1 material and always keep us on our toes.

Menaace is simply put a menaace to all those around him. His personality and story flip flops a lot probably more often than most politicians. AoS will still be out there nightly fielding numbers and having fun so we will see you out there for sure. Good luck and keep up the good fights. Oh and all those SoS guilds out there PRX,Tsym, FoE,MERC, Work, etc (I know I forgot a lot but those are the one's i've personally went against in the past two days) you guys are very very good and glad you guys are helping people out and I also look forward to seeing SBI out in force on reset.

To the AoS MMAC drama that just spilled over and got on everyones shoes, I only ask one questions.  WHY?

Guild drama, and especially server drama doesnt make ANYONE look good.  It makes you look worse when BOTH sides are in here slinging crap at each other.  You do a disservice to your guilds AND your server.  Take it to emails, take it to private forums, take it ANYWHERE but to a place where most people just want to chit chat about WvW.  Your pissed, they are pissed, we get it, we got it after the first 10 messages on here.  Guild drama is someting NOONE wants to be a part of, and public guild drama is even worse.  Be adults about it, and just go your seperate ways!  

If one side here stops arguing, they other side will too.

Also, Vihar, I believe you are mistaken about the outmanned buff.  Im pretty sure its map wide, and not location based.  You may have just had some coincidences of running into a big zerg when the buff suddenly appeared.  Otherwise all our small ops and single man scouts deep behind enemy lines would always have the buff.

Lol good luck.  Did you read my message?   The guy won't stop trying to haunt JQ here, he still states that he plays on the server which he doesn't.  Take a look at any of our past Tier 1 threads he's in every one slinging disinformation about JQ.  We can do nothing, moderators will do nothing without proof.  So we have to try to stop it when he comes.

Some proof about this weeks message and him not being on the server is that he stated that we were all yelling at each other when on TS one night.  That night our TS had a melt down and we were on a different comms system.

Actually, it is bugged as hell all of a sudden. I noticed about 2 weeks ago that everyone on map chat was bitchin about being outmanned. I looked at my buffs and didn't have it. Sure enough, I clicked on someone else and he had it.

  I don't know the exact mechanics, only what I have deduced from experience.

  I would say with almost certainty, though, that it is not map wide, unless it is bugged in some way.....which is always a good bet in GW2 so far.

Menaace/Walker was a laughing stock to TA and HOD when his guild moved to JQ and claimed HoD would have been smoked by his advanced tactics. I don't think an ego like that guy would make a fit in PRX or any other respectable guild.
