After banging my head against FotM lvl 20 with 0 resistance I feel like I would need resistance before attempting it again.

So, I was wondering if the "Tiers" have the same drop rate.
Tiers meaning 1-9 being a tier, 10-19, 20-29 etc.

So does a lvl 10 Daily have the same chance to drop an ascended ring as a lvl 18 Daily, 20 and 28, 30 and 38 etc?

So in other words, would it be "Better" to do a "Easy" lvl 10 rather than a "Hard" lvl 18 to farm rings?

What are the dailies, i honestly havent been arround Fotm since i got lvl 4.

When playing level 10 or higher you get a chest similar to the daily reward chest when you kill Jade Maw for the first time a day. It includes some fractal tokens and - if you are lucky - an ascended ring.

Also get a chest at lower levels too after killing it.

I don't know, haven't had one yet but.. I generally have crappy drops

The ring drop rate isn't that low.  I've seen the figure 1 in 3 thrown around a few times and from the two times I've killed Maw at L10 we had 2 rings drop the first time and 3 the second so... the odds are pretty good.

Well luckily enough I got a ring at lvl 10 just now. That makes me 1/5 for the 10+ daily.

The reason why I ask is because I see a lot of people doing lvl 10 and 20 instead of a "Harder" 18 because the chance to get a ring is assumed to be the same.


Also, that Daily chest appears on your first Jade Maw kill of the day. No matter the fractal level.
Its just at 10+ you start to have a chance of getting a pink ring.
And at 20+ you start to have a chance of getting a Pink ring with resistance built in (+ an infusion).

I don't think that we will find reliable data to confirm or debunk this. If it is true it is certainly interesting that the better loot you should find in level 18 fractals is not considered being worth the extra effort.

got 2 rings in 3 chests.
Drop rate aint so bad, at least not for me

Edit: all 3 at the level diffuculty 10 jade maw.
