Not sure where "Theorycrafting" would go so if this is not the right place for it, mods please move it to the appropriate place.

Anyone who has been banging their head on the lvl 20 wall knows that Agony does hurt a lot more than in 19.

While searching for the specifics on how agony and resistance acts, I havent found anything for outside the 10s "Tier".

What we know now is that at 10-19, Agony ticks for 1/8th of your max health.
With 5 resistance it is 1/16th of your max health.
With 10 you take no damage.

Running lvl 20 with 0 resistance (unlucky and poor), I've noticed that agony has been hitting me for maybe 1/4th of my health per tick (probably more). I usually go down maybe the 3rd or 4th tick
And from what I observed from my party members with 5, 10, and 15 resistance, it hasnt been as easy as 5 resistance reduces it by half. The people with 5 resistance was dying just as quick as me and 10 and 15 were still getting kinda hurt but not as bad.

From what I can surmise,
Depending on the "Tier" you are in agony it changes damage.
10's it deals 1/8th per tick
20's 1/4 (or whereabouts)
30's 1/2

Also, from what I have observed, resistance doesnt change from tier to tier.
It just reduces the damage taken by agony by a "Fixed" amount.
5 resistance reduces the damage taken by 1/16th of your max health.
10 by 1/8 (2/16)
15 by 3/16

That is just my speculation with little observation.

Does anyone have any testing or more accurate information? Or is my speculation correct or near correct?

Agony ticks for 50% of your HP per second with 0 resistance at tier 4 (30+).
