Esoteric as in esoteric - ancient alchemists, gnostics, kabbalists, mystics etc?

In the line of Zhaitan is an allusion to the demiurge, or like the mystic forge is the modern way to do alchemy, as designed by the immortal alchemists, or like making an actual religion out of worshipping Grenth or some other pantheons, or other esoteric ideas using in game concepts, or some other wild stuffs?


Are there such? I'm interested to know.
