i was very lucky with Mystic Forge. I got my precursor with 4 rares instead of exotics on the third try, which is like 0.2%-0.5%.
Gift of Juggernaut requires Gift of Metal and Vial of Quicksilver. I bought some molten core from TP when they were dirt cheap at around 2-4 silver and farmed rest from CoF. I bought most of my 250 silver doubloon at around 2-3 silver.
Gift of Mastery was somewhat easy for me apart from lots of karma grind in SoD and Cursed Shores. Badges of honor u can get from EB and borderland jumping puzzles, since they are account bound, u can in theory create alts just for farming badges, delete alts, rinse and repeat.
Gift of Fortune was the most expensive part since it require 250 ectos and 250 of each type of tier 6 crafting mats. I crafted lots lvl80 rare axes (cheaper than other weapons to craft) just for salvaging ectos. I obtained about 80-100 of each type of t6 crafting mats while doing dungeons, dailies and and gambling for Mystic Clovers (the recipe sometimes give u t6 mats instead). Rest i bought from TP and donated by guildies.
