In GW1 the main wintersday trophy was Candy Cane Shards, so that would be a reasonable bet.  Also, there was fruit cake, various candy canes, eggnog and frozen globs of ectoplasm.  Its a good bet that trick or treat bags will be replaced with "wintersday gifts" as well... and we can possibly expect some sort of snowball fight PvP.

Armorer is acceptable as well because mithril is light enough that a snow man frame can support this armor type. They will be a heavy class snowman support pet. Mithril will def sky rocket!!!

WoW........ This thread has gone rather wild but a few things I would like to mention.
1. majority of gw players don't come here and read these threads and then Think OMG!!!! investment banking!
2. I do not believe a thread like this actually affects the market.....

Now there might be 1 or 2 or 50 evil people on here that thought it would be funny to screw with the little guy and made mint leafs or for that matter any speculation item out of my reach to ever be able to afford :/ . But I think they would have done it anyway.....

The real heart of this thread and What me and my friends are wondering is this... Should we each try to buy a stack before an event? or do you think the "crash trend" of speculation items will remain steady as each new event comes? If a recipe does come for winters day using mint leafs do you think the 1% of evil will actually be able sustain the high prices?


These ideas might seem rather noobish :/ I always say I did't pass fourth grade for nuthin, but I understand some of you mostly likely grad from high school :/ makes me feel kinda stupid idk. I am babling now so i'll just wait for some good advice

I hear Valkyrie Masquerade Boots are going to be used in a Wintersday recipe.  You should really buy them!


What I find interesting is that the news broke on Nov 27.  Yet in all of the relevant price graphs, the items supply plummeted starting Nov 20th.  There are leaks I reckon.

It's only normal that xmas related materials started going up near December. Especially when wintersday isn't exactly a brand new thing in GW series. Official announcements only make things go faster.

Cotton supply went down and price shot up at the same time.  It'll be interesting to see if things like that, which aren't obviously Wintersdayish will turn out to be used in recipes for the event.  Checking the graphs of such items from nov 20th when we learn what they are will give some answers.
