1> most people cant afford a gaming PC so they have to buy a console, meaning most people game on consoles
2> exclusive games
3> built specifically for gaming so when you see a game for your console you dont have to worry if your console is powerful enough for it. But with PC your PC needs to be good enough to run certain games.
4> first person shooters seem better to play on a console.
5> In the end, i just feel like Console's are better for gaming just because they are meant for gaming and have lots of specific gaming features in them.
1> In the end its all just opinion...but you cant argue with the fact that more people will buy consoles because theyre cheaper than PC
I wanted to dispute some of your assumptions that and point out that as all things technical, things change over time.
#5: Consoles are just PCs with limited peripherals and a very custom Operating System. You can run windows/linux on a console if you want. In fact, the US military runs a "supercomputer" made up of hundreds of XBOXs running in parallel. Why would they do that? Lets discuss point #1.
#1: Consoles cost less than PCs only because consoles run outdated PC hardware and are sold at cost or a loss to the manufacturer. There is no profit in selling consoles, they make their money selling the games. Its like when a phone company gives you a "free" phone to get you to sign up for a long term contract. The cost of the hardware is hidden in the price of the contract, or in the case of console in the price of the games you buy for it.
Today you can buy (or get free with your contract) netbooks, smartphones and tablets that are getting close to rivaling the current generation consoles in computing power.
2&3: These are the main reasons PC users hate consoles. They limit game development to what consoles can handle.
4: Every time console gamers are pitted against PC gamers in FPS games, the PC users wipe the floor with the console gamers. Mouse and keyboard is too much of a controller advantage for even "pro" console gamers to overcome.
