We have been having really great fights with blackgate the entire week. However the past two days ICOA has been using this exploit almost nonstop to glitch inside bay and I feel like I need to call them out on this. They blatantly use this glitch multiple times with no shame. It's the same couple mesmers doing it and the entire guild and other followers teleport in with them. ICOA is really putting a negative view on their entire server by doing this. So hopefully you guys can do some internal work and resolve this issue.

this isn't a hack so they will not be banned. An exploit such as a glitch like this is not considered as a "bug". instead it is an unintended environmental alteration that may or may not benefit players depending on the nature. just send a ticket to ANet and they'll take care of it. Posting it on the forum will just get you a warning since you clearly didn't read the sticky regarding this subject.

Do you know how they do this at all?  If you do I will happily report it and the technique used.  Just reporting it will take much longer, but if the technique/glitch and how to do it is included in the report it will be fixed much sooner.

They're paranoid too.  I was randomly invited by them the other day, ran WvW with them for a few days, then out of the blue they kick me tonight and falsely accuse me of being a spy.  I guess i'll stick to reputable guilds from now on that value their members.

This really pisses me off. Hopefully it's dealt with swiftly and harshly. I'm just a random nobody on the server, but it's a place I call home in this game and I won't stand for this kind of crap in my house.

I have talked to one of the leaders in iCoa, and he admitted this problem and promised that this won't be happening again.

But the issue here is; they have been doing this for days, but they stop it when clear evidence has been made public?

We've had so many good fights the last few days and we, as blackgate, we were pretty proud of how we turned the fight around... but this kinda stuff makes all our hard work look meaningless. I want to fight a fair fight and win that way, not with this retarded stuff.

Here is their "response" or lack thereof I should say.

I would love to smear the reputation of ICOA. They knowingly and willfully used an exploit who knows how many times and on how many borderlands. They make blackgate look like a bunch of exploiters. I only want to bring attention to this guild so blackgate may do some internal work and deal with this since ICOA is a part of their "alliance"

On Behalf of ICoa, no such action shall further take place. This issue has created quite a few problems and nothing of the sort shall take place in the future matches.
We do hope Arena Net Fixes these environmental anomaly's in the future of WvWvW, and we here at Imperial Coalition believe in 100% legitimacy. This in no way represents the interests or intentions of the server Blackgate or her guilds.  

We are currently looking into this issue.

Also, this isn't the only fishy thing I've seen from BG, earlier yesterday a different guild had a mesmer dead right inside our gate.  Later we found out you can res from the other side of the gate.

We are looking into the situation and are going to handle it with extreme force. The last thing that we would want to bring to the server is negative feedback from anywhere. Please bare with us as we are handling the situation and have already interrogated members... This Mesmer wall-hugging jump thing that have been used by SoR as well as IoJ should definitely be fixed and I'm sure Anet will patch this soon. I can tell you that this does not happen often and the qqer's will definitely make this a highlight topic to bring our server down. I'm sure Blackgate will not listen to these type of people and ICoa will continue pwning legitly everyweek. See you in WvWvW and goodluck!

This is damn hilarious, Sanctum of Rall you're simply hypocrites. Okay, yes, there was a mesmer who caught wind of the glitch and abused it in [ICoa], but since then they've been banned that mesmer from a guild. Prior to that however all guilds on our server share tactics for hiding mesmers on keeps and towers so we can port ourselves back in once you leave. Our server has never used the glitch before this that we know of. Every guild on Blackgate opposes it's use and swiftly deals with abusers. If this mesmer used it more than once, on behalf of Blackgate I am deeply sorry, but I trust [ICoa] when they say they had no idea of it's use.

But that's not even the funny part. What is absolutely hilarious in my opinion is how hypocritical you all are. I think you have forgotten how multiple guilds on your server have been abusing the same glitch for the past two rounds/weeks. [SPQR] in particular abuses the glitch like crazy. This guild has been caught so many times, by both BG and IoJ, using the glitch to quickly reclaim your territory. Not to mention a player on Sanctum of Rall who reported the abuse of the glitch by guilds on your server just 10 days ago, and who was willing to tell ME, somebody from Blackgate, that they have been using the glitch against us. I will shamefully admit that somebody from our server was also abusing the glitch at the time to get back, but they were dealt with by the guild they were in and banned.

In no way do any of the guilds on Blackgate, including [ICoa], tolerate the use of any form of bug abuse. As far as I know, anybody who has been caught using the glitch has been severely dealt with by their guilds. So before you want to point the finger at us, look at yourselves and quit your bitching. We DO feel shame for what's happened, we DON'T tolerate the bug abuse, and we do want a fair fight from all servers in this weeks match up. May the best and fairest team win.

EDIT: Sorry Cake, just noticed you there... Please stop harassing the people on our server, especially those in [ICoa]. All the guilds have been talking about your harassment to their members and you've become some sort of celebrity to us for it. And yet we're the disgrace for something we weren't even aware about? :') Have a nice day. (If it's a different Cake harassing us from your server them I'm deeply sorry for confusing the two of you.)

Blackgate has it's reputation for a reason. Sorry if you are on a server that is full of people that like to use exploits and hacks but it is the cold truth.

Sorry Zero, but it isn't... Our server made it to tier 1 because we have solid WvW guilds who give it their all, and we fell from tier 1 because we weren't strong enough to keep our position. Every server has people who are going to abuse the glitch, but no moral guild is ever going to condone use of it, no matter what server. I houghly doubt Sanctum of Rall would tolerate some of the people in [SPQR] using of the glitch, am I right? But the minuscule minority of people in every server does not define the way our server and guilds play. Blackgate is dedicated to WvW and we will continue to fight hard to improve our server WITHOUT the use of any glitches or unfair advantages, hoping to one day return to tier 1 and prove our worth.

@Cake: What's your in game name? We know you simply as Cake.

Any guild is ultimately a collection of complete strangers who only really connect in the game.

Within any guild will be small groups of friends, prehaps from real life or just other games.

A guild leadership would find it pretty difficult to monitor all the membership all the time.

Personally I would penalise individual members rather than the entire guild.

It wasn't intended to be a troll. I like Blackgate as an opponent. The fact is nearly every time I have been in a match with that server, there is some hack or exploit that is taken advantage of multiple times per day. It really does suck for you guys that you have trash like that on your server. You fight good enough and hard enough that your server, as a whole doesn't need to use that behavior to get ahead.

However, it is ridiculous for BG to act like their shit don't stink when it comes to this subject. Why don't you guys just do what you need to to encourage these people to leave the server. Things like, not res them, leave them hanging out in front of a zerg, don't group with them. Eventually they will get a clue.

I agree with most of what you said man. But seriously, nearly a week of certain elements on your server glitching into keeps and taking orbs caused one of the biggest guilds in GW2 to tell ANet they were going to quit if they didn't do something about it. Then next day, orbs were removed.
