Try using earth sigils instead of energy. Take advantage of your crit and decent condition damage from the rabid amulet.
You know - I
had the Earth sigils, but then I found myself in people's faces so much that I really needed the Energy. Maybe that's just me, but for things like Thieves and Mesmers, dodging is the only way I can get out of gross amounts of damage when in Melee range like that.
Good point made though, and I agree with you. It's just my playstyle, but the Earth sigils are def a solid choice.

I have to try this. I'm not sure the context of where it's good at. I play a melee tanky wellmancer and I love how people don't seem intimidated at the fact that I'm running towards them instead of kiting.
Can I ask why daggers are split? For me axe is kind of like staff. You spam all the skills once and you're done with it. Axe + warhorn basically means face roll 4-5-3-2 and then swap out (maybe skip axe #3). The only reason why I'd see daggers split would be if you got the +movement speed trait and OH and MH dagger doesn't stack.
This build is surprisingly tanky with pure spectral. How much does Lich Form auto-attack crit for on players (sPvP) ?
Ah, good question -
Axe is a midrange weapon (I agree), and I also treat it like a mini staff. The Dagger offhand is also a ranged style weapon, and with skills like Enfeebling Blood and Deathly Swarm, I like to use those as fight controllers. I set up Enfeebling on my hard hitters pre-fight at midrange, and I can use Swarm to Blind tagets either before they get to me, or to protect teammates already getting attacked. Best of all is that it's a good ender for when you know you're bested. You already move at ultra speed, so just run away when you're getting beat on... assuming you have conditions - just heal (Consume bonus), about face 180, then Swarm your enemy the old conditions.
As for having the Horn on your Dagger mainhand - as I run in, I can cripple seamlessly with my Locust just before I engage. Also, you're a meleemancer and constantly right on top of your target, which is right where you'll need to be if you ever want to 100% connect with Wail of Doom (this is your bread and butter for downed guys and people helping them get up). Timing WoD well is the difference a lot of the time in my bigger fights, and you NEED it on your main weapon set
and in melee range. That cone can be a little rough to aim otherwise.
Lich's Deathly Claws hits hard as hell out there. I can get you real numbers after work.
This build is oddly VERY tanky... in a Thiefy kinda way too.
Edit:
Also, take Vampiric Precision instead of Dagger Mastery - that was a mistake on my part when I posted the build. It synergizes a lot more.
