I've had the idea to make a system like this for awhile but never really got around to doing it. Basically I'm wondering what you guys think of a giant Mumble server used to form groups for tournaments.
The idea is to break up players into ranks and then classes. Right now I'm thinking a low, medium, and high bracket (1-20, 20-30, 30-40+). This kind of system would probably require many players willing to "captain" a team and select the players they want from the appropriate level bracket.
Thoughts/improvements on this?
Any interest in a massive PUG Mumble?

I think just communal VOIP would construct more teams, bring ppl in to touch more.
This would probably foster more/new teams. I don't think Rank helps much with, but I think maybe break ppl up by QP point brackets, and NO QP's?
Right now that's the only way to gauge a few things.
Most Rank 1-20 ppl wouldn't even look up/think about joining the mumble.
Overall, I think it's something needed right now for the community of those trying to hang on.
