After having traveled throughout Tyria, encountering many dynamic events, I would have to say that I really enjoy the siege dynamic events - particularly when you overtake an enemy camp or defend a local town.

One dynamic event in particular that I have enjoyed repeatedly is when the centaurs attempt to conquer Nebo Terrace (Gendarran Fields map).  Lots of action, good pacing, and you feel like you are making a contribution to the local citizens.

So... what's your favorite dynamic event?

The chain in fireheart rise, wich starts with the guy placing mortars and goes on until the final assault and fight against the shaman.
Too bad the shaman is back 20 minutes later and your effort means absolute shit.

HOLY INNOVATIVE DYNAMIC SYSTEM BATMAN.

None. "Dynamic" is a joke. It is the same **** over and over again.

Dynamic Events are an interesting concept but the realization is horrible. They are just static quest lines.

Way to turn a positive thread negative... it only took three posts.  Edit - I'm sincerely disappointed in myself that I was surprised by this.

My favorite is the one in Metrica Province where you accompany an asura team through Oola's old lab.  Because it's Oola!!  Also the dragon fights, because I like seeing the dragons.

I love the couple of events in Metrica where the one professor is doing demos for the class and all sorts of things go wrong like the students get shrunk, the lab starts on fire, drakes are let loose, etc.

Also - any of the events that cause an NPC merchant to spawn selling an item that I can then purchase and sell directly to a TP buy order for a profit. :)

When I read the question, I drew a blank. It wasn't until someone said Claw of Jormag that I remembered the dragons.

The initial siege of Orr. All the other "dynamic" events are complete jokes. They're completely static and reset every 10-20 minutes. Assaulting Orr during launch week was incredible though, truly felt like I was making an impact on the world. Of course I wasn't actually, but the feeling was nice all the same.

The dynamic event chain that opens CoE has been my favorite so far. Looking foward to future content that could replace it.

Honestly i dont even pay attention to what im doing these days.

I would say my favorites are the event chains (like plinx) cause they allow me to get my 5 events daily faster.

Orrian Chicken Coops, no question. That event is so absurd. First, you probably have to accept that these chicken coops survived the sinking of orr, stayed intact underwater for 250 years, and then survived the rise of the city back to the surface, all so you can whack some undead hens. It is awesome.

Take back the city type events are my favorite. I absolutely hate the collect x items and escort events at this point.

Temple of Dwayna. Malchior's DWAAAAAAAYNAAAAAAAAAA yell (which could be heard from halfway across the map - that's how you know it's starting) cracks me up every time.

Harathi Hinterlands.  I like the stage where players chose one of the 3 mobs to fight., and tough boss that can instant drop people if they don't watch out.  It kind of reminds me of raids in some mmorpgs. The swamp boss in Kessex hills, but I only saw that one once.  Seems it has an infrequent appearance?  It too, reminded me of raids where players needed to elect their own organization on how to take care of multiple boss type mobs.

I like most of the temple fights, the lyssa fight in particular takes a higher level of coordination then "ZERG BOSS GUY!"

I had a good time doing two seemingly unrelated events because of a simple detail. First I went with some pirates to find the treasure on their sunken ship. At the end, the leader yells at his lackey for trying to bring some alcohol and throws it into the mud. Later I helped a vigil team of two norns being lead by an asura find artifacts. The end of that event was finding the alcohol left by the other one leading to two happy norns and one grumpy asura. I couldn't stop laughing over the randomness.

I like Frozen Maw.  It has a nice build from "escort this guy to do research" to "psycho Shaman calling ice-storms down on everyone's heads".

I also like some of the weird random ones.  Ones that are goofily anti-heroic.  Help this guy dress his snowmen!  Escort cows to meatoberfest so instead of wolves eating them, Charr can!

Haven't gotten to the final zone ones yet and been doing Norn area stuff so that's what sticks out in memory at the moment.

My favorite would be the Claw of Jormag event while there's not many people, not only does it make the fight harder and more climactic, it also lessens the chances of running into someone who thinks this is actually the Elder Dragon Jormag itself. I absolutely love the music during this battle and how it's set up in general, with the whole crash landing, multiple stages and everything. A real shame that the Shatterer and the Sunless utterly fail in both of these aspects. I also love the event chain in Harathi Hinterlands where the Seraph capture camps and fight through hordes of centaurs until you face and slay the Ulgoth himself. It has a very big all out war feel to it and unlike the CoJ event, this one gets better the more people are present. Hordes of players against hordes of centaurs. Always makes me think of the grand battles in Lord of the Rings. The Ulgoth also has some very great lines of dialogue prior to his event and during its several stages. Whoevers voice this is, big props to you - outstanding job!

Any form of "defend/retake the city/outpost!"  Unlike so many "too cool for school" kids out there, I love the huge, chaotic zerg events for the exact same reason folks hate them: because they're inaccurately chaotic, require only throwing numbers at oncoming hordes of things that are doomed if you have a good number of people with you, and highly inclusive and exciting.  I don't play MMOs to be "challenged,"  I play for excitement and inevitably victorious grand scale combat, and GW2's dynamic events are great for this!

I have boatloads of "hard" games that I can play alone and take my time mastering at my own pace, for the immediacy and scale of an MMO, give me massive, (imagine that) inclusive, and good clean fun! :)

i like the fire elemental in metrica province. when you are trying to do it with people in that lvl range it is ridiculously hard. but not impossible. even with a bunch of scaled down players it is challenging. much more so than crap like the shatterer, who just stands there doing not much of anything and then dies in like 25 seconds.
